all 3 teams that can go down from 1st league are very similar in level...

Thought I would give one of my favourite threads a little boosts by giving sokker the hairdryer treatment.

This guy, going for 2.4mill. WTF!! This is part of the reason it is so hard to get much higher ratings in the game. Someone under 30 with the same skills is going for 8mill. Around 30 about 4mill. So you are faced with buying something "affordable" but will be dead by seasons end, or lose 4mill over 2 years and that's if they don't drop any skills

And trying to look younger to sell around the 27 mark is an even worse loss in profit if they are a team filler and not a trainer, because the price is pushed up even further by people wanting to train them.

So there we go, give sokker the hairdryer treatment. A result of a dying game, with lots of old teams having more money then can be spent.

The one good thing about this though is, the main way to make money in a declining market is through long term training (or holding skills high).

The top end skills will come down overall, meaning if you can buy young and cheap, as those top end skills come down, and your young trainee goes up, they will eventually cross and your nothing trainee becomes quite valuable.

The days of profitable TM beasts don't work well in a declining market, so whilst some will still be successful, a majority won't

And start of season makes it difficult too.
30-32 year olds going for over 2 mill where I could get in 2nd half of last season for under a mill.

Aww yeah not too bad. Only played 36 games for the NT though, so maybe more of a friendlies or cup recruit

Worst thing, he could probably beat your first XI by himself too, no goalie needed.

Yeah I saw that. Decided I didn't need to go there. Hard to imagine ever turning a profit on someone with that sort of junior price... but given Sk striker prices, maybe it will prove to be a bargain?

Well 3xSD in striker is basically 25mill. It's almost a set price. So yeah, not sure how they could ever turn a profit

I love having a bunch of young hacks as trainees again. They train so fast!
