Asunto: The "give your team the hairdryer treatm

hmm... from my trainees, it seems that i need to start eliminating the use of wingers, and use attacking mids instead, as their skillset seem to imply that they can strike better through the middle...

i probably should set a new tactic for my trainees but i cbb doing it now :P maybe later when im more bored and less leepy

CRAP! i forgot to put my back from suspension midfielder in the cup game today, and lost 2-0 as a result..... it was a bot team no less :(

well, it WAS the debut for most of my juniors.. at least the supporters are still delighted, and it was almost a full house, given it was a cup game against a bot team...

sigh, there goes the pace training for my central mid... and i WAS hoping to get somewhere in the cup this season... oh well, there's always next season...

we got the best ever overall team stats today (all average :P) so the only hairdrier treatment I can give is that fo praise...maybe some harsh words to Gumprecht who insists on keeping his goals to shots ratio around 10% ever match :(

3rd injury for the season and we aren't even through week 2 yet :(

On the plus side though for you though, TBF had their new striker Flamant sent off.

Pretty standard result for me. Was nice to reach double figures with a good goal from Wilkinson in the last minute. They don't just call him the butcher because of his well 'ard challenges. He certainly butchered a good majority of his 21 shots.

Might have some conflict with Barhilo there. I believe Byers is called the Butcher also ;).

Recently his nickname has changed to Bi.... due to NT performances. :P

wheeee!!!! despite the very late start to today's match, i'm still happy :)

that 1-8 win was just such a relief to exam pressures. the strange thing is though, that my second striker scored a goal more than my star striker... he must be having a good day.

the only gripe i have is that goal conceded.... gotta get better defenders when i have the money...

my game was anything but a relief, it was crap. Sure I wouldnt have been "happy" with a draw, but it would have been fair. If I won I owuld have been happy but that wouldnt have been right given the game, nor the actual result of losing.

Yes it was very nice that you both received your best marks ever. And yes, I understand that he's the best keeper in Australia and plays for the Argentine national team. I still expect you to put the ball in the back of the net next time.

P.S. Winkens, Popovic and Paluch you can work on not running forward and missing interceptions allowing 1-on-1's at the back too.

crap i was in the middle of setting up positions for players when the matcfh started...lets see what happens i dont expect to win either way

pffft...tactic sucked...my defense was way too deep somehow..i think i missed some squares near the goal in the setup :P ...after that game i feel we need a season of technique...one on one chances and didnt even shoot cuz we fumbled it so much...oh well.

I don't see how it is possible, but my keeper didn't play in the cup match and a very unqualified orange-boy subbed in. I won't blame the site, no doubt I somehow did it?!?
Frightfully fortunate to get away with the game in a 6-5 thriller however.

Wow, that was close! Collie Lions gave me a big scare today. I really didn't want it to go to penalties, so luckily we finally found the net in the 119th minute to secure a place in the next round. Nerve racking game to watch. [oh]

pretty happy with my friendly match today. tested out a new tactic and it seems that it would be league worthy once some players get their stats sorted out. my only gripe would be the 12 day injury to my trainee... :(
