Asunto: The "give your team the hairdryer treatm
Ah thanks for that. Yeah hadn’t been really following closely because I’ve been watching that other thread about the changes proposed for inflation and how quickly that blew up.
Also wish when using phones instead of desktops/laptops it didn’t double post things when you re log in. Doesn’t happen often to me but it happened earlier.

You're probably refreshing the page or hitting the 'previous page' button after posting while trying to get back to the topic.
Should happen the same on your PC/laptop. The page is simply sending the same request you made it do when you refresh or return, if I remember well.
If not, there might be the browser, not the phone, issue.

As much as I like the idea of ghost players running out to score, Cunico was cut after the game. Such is the state of my youth school.
Already had a theory of sk trying to get close to PC's Football Manager (e.g. by adding another skill level to make the scale 0-20 or filling the squad with random players generated by the game eninge) but how wrong and forward thinking would I be :P
At this point it’s going to get to requiring ghost players if prices keep increasing :p
Think I need to find some new scouts for my youth school. My school is looking a little bleak overall, with a couple of ok ones provided they keep up their talent
Most are destined to come out at approx the Excellent level, which if you get lucky, can get a decent distribution, but most of the time not going to produce a lot.
Looking at my current youth school with those that have a calculated talent, over the next couple of seasons I get to look forward to the following. I have marked the season breaks
19 Solid
19 excellent
-----------------
20 VG
19 Form
19 Solid
18 Good
18 Solid
19 Formi
19 Incred (GK) - Owen Shaw
20 Formi
20 Formi
18 Formi
18 Incred - Patrick Tennant
20 Outs (GK)
18 Exc
------------------
19 Magic - Denis Renaud

Also for anyone who uses these, their predictions always look better the further from being pulled they are (just due to calculations). So keep in mind when assessing this
Ouch no young ones either in that list. Hope the magical turns out good as might be salvageable.
I think I have you covered

Thought it was just me, but since going to the shorter seasons (IRL), it feels like YS is now at a lower standard.
Mathematically they are definitely a lower standard.
Not with their final skill, but with their age as there are 4 less weeks each season.
It means a 32 week junior is 2/3 season older when they are pulled than prior.

Yep, understand that aspect….what I don’t get…or should I say what the devs couldn’t give a toss about, is offsetting that with change to ratio of increases to go with it.
Or maybe that element is just me.

That doesn’t suit their goals though. They want fewer top end players and want managers to have to make decisions about what to train. As it stands we get a 16-19yo in when they enter. I’d like to see this age set based on the age they’d come out. So 16-20yo on exit which may mean they come in at 14-15 if they have like 30+ weeks.
Alternatively, I’d like to see those players that come out older (say 20+) with higher levels (say outstanding +) have a higher cap then excellent on a skill.
Former option probably better as it still allows a fair amount of junk to minimise good prospects.

I've got 3 18 year olds coming out on Thursday.
