Summary
Quite a successful season here in Tribe-land. We picked up Bronze in the cup and secured Auto-Promotion back to A-League with a record of 13 wins, 1 draw, 0 losses. We scored 90 competitive goals (64 in league), and conceded only 14 (9 in league). We also had a couple of really thrilling games with two 4-3 results (GG in the cup and Salgaocar in league) going our way, both times coming from behind.
It was also a time of change for the club as we lost
Safi Tan Abdullah (DEF)
Giani Gaiani (MID)
Kazimierz Nawałka (MID)
Srasys Zikus (ATT)
Kaapo Kalliala (ATT/MID)
The latter four all having been at the club for multiple seasons
We also saw the arrival of some new faces from overseas
Bohdan Brat (DEF/MID)
Ignacy Bednarski (MID)
Radosław Czubała (DEF)
And added some home grown talent to the reserves
Noel Aloisi (ATT)
Shane Whitehouse (ATT)
Simon McDermott (MID)
Some players also changed roles this season:
Tom Winkens moved from the midfield into the backline
Marco Croxall spent the majority of the season as a MID
Kris Hirons stopped chatting up nurses and actually played the whole season.
Klemens Link was elevated from a sub, to a regular starter
William O'Neill started several games

Im going for second straight promotion if I win the qualification match...thats the biggest news at the Bushrangers camp.
nice video highlights. Going to be good to see you back in the A League next season :).
Nice season for Newcastle Team/The Evil's. A sure promotion without a need to play a promotion game - looks like we're too good for 4th league. :p
13 games won in a row, 1 more to make a club record. 74 league goals scored is for sure a nice new record, same with 34 goals of Pawlusinski. 11 goals of yuongster Deroo should also be mentioned, together with his 6 assists - looks like his online problem at the moment is stamina.
It's also worth to remember about Andy Willis, who got 14 assists in league and 5 in 8 NT games. Good NT start, I must say. The supporters will remember his half-pith long passes for long!
The Evil's got also few more records - like 79 note of Pawlusiński, or bigges overall note - 51.2!
Not many transfers in this season, the only[!] income was Darcheville, a numerous French NT mid, who did great job for the club. Another new player is Maras, who will propably get well known in future for all Australian supporters. Let's hope that Dreger will show him few tricks ;)
As for the sellings - only youths. For sure the most important one was Jonasz Rozgiewicz - a 17yo striker sold for 15M zloty. Might play in NT in future.
Still, now, after promotion to III.08 a huge change in the club is needed. It's said that whole defence will be sold and exchanged by young defs with at least brilliant defence. It's connected with training change - from technique to pace.
Still...how will the club get the money for those transfers? It's quite easy - we will sell our 2nd best striker Manuszewski for 70m zloty, tomorrow[skills aren't hidden, just see him].
This was definetely a great season for training. Pawlusinski is almost 2x divine and 1x magical now! Deroo is almost 1x divine at age of 19, same with Barbón. Giobbe Briganti does great too. And of course - Willis! Pops in technique, untrained ones in passing, playmaking, pace and defene! Wow!
As for Deroo - he played his games nr. 2,3 and 4 for the Belgisch NT, but he played only 20min in each game. Still haven't scored a first goal though.
Also Maras got his debut in the NT.

I'm not sure if it was just the level of competition or not, but I've improved my team's passing quite a bit this last season and have a lot more goals coming from 2, 3, 4+ good passes. Led to some much nicer highlights IMO
Yeah, certainly was an impressive display, demolishing through II.04 to return to the A League. Your defense held firm also, which seems to have improved since being relegated from the A League. I think next season might be even tougher than this season was.
+Winkens
+Czubala
-Tan Abdullah
-Popovic
= about +800k player value to my back 3.
Czubala got injured in his first friendly and only played the last game of the season for us, so if it looked good before him, it should look even better with him :)
Brat and Bednarski are both better defensively than Nawalka and Gaiani were as well which also helps, though I'm not sure they are better by enough (defense wise) to make a marked difference in A-League.

My end of season summary:
Finished a safe 4th in II.01, as expected. Quite difficult to improve on that, considering the calibre of the top 3 teams, all trying to get into A-League.
However, I really need to strengthen my team... especially up front. My MID trainees are progressing nicely though :)

Despite having only found out about moving the ball option on the tactics page, Da Minkees finsihed 3rd in their league (record high) and have been unbeaten during the last 10 weeks (a bit of a contrast compare Achmid friendly league!).
- Second round in the cup (record as well).
- Some very good trainees came up this season have added more strenght to the 1st team.
Generally pleased with my 3rd season, it's been a year now.. :)
The advices from the "oldies" are paying off now, any newbies should listen to the old man and be patient!

Golden season for the tigers getting the A-league/Australia Cup double.
It was built around 3 very dangerous fwds, a competent midfield and a solid backline with a decent keeper. Injuries midseason just after our cup triumph, threatened to derail our league campaign but we somehow managed to hang in there. A competent backup defender and midfielder as well as the luxury of having 3 fairly decent reserve striker trainees gave us enough depth to survive.
Never expected this, but truth be told after last season I knew we were around the mark.
Was hoping the timing of seasons end would coincide with the sale of Tiatto, but a nasty longterm injury has delayed his sale and subsequent cash influx for several more weeks. There'll definitely be some key changes to personnel (at the least 1 midfielder and 2 defenders) who have "maxed" out with the training i could sneak them without impacting on my fwds) and still look at making a nice profit on them.
