Looks like they'll be going on Friday, which is good. Can put that week's salary towards recruitment.

I mean if you’re going to miss that final payday I would call stumps on the Wednesday so you didn’t have to do a training session without pay :p.

I got 3 juniors but the estimated value was 0. I think my youth coach checked out before they arrived.

Hopefully they'll jump to their true skills at the training update.

3.5M just spent to replace my 3 coaches I lost yesterday. Head coach is now a magical and not an unearthly but has unearthly in all skills except stamina. Figure that's good enough. Also ended up keeping some of the cheaper brilliants for my assistant role so my assistants have gone from 1x incred, 2x formid to 2x brilliant, 1x formid. Didn't think I needed to fumble around trying to get outs/increds so will just cop the 60k increase in wages per week.

I hoped there'd be some more options on the transfer market, since others would have settled their coaches by now. But it's still a feeding frenzy.

I want a head coach to train pace, tech, def & striker. What do you think is the best strategy for a cost effective head coach recruitment? Minimum stamina/keeper and maximum the rest?

That would be 44k per go. Would hope to get a good long term option within 1mil, but I haven't had much luck with recruitment in the past.

Yeah unearthly in the skills you want and as low as possible gk (I’d go with something like vg or something as opposed to tragic, gives more wiggle room). Stamina doesn’t add too much to wage. Gk is the bigger culprit. You should be able to get that pretty quickly if you’re not chasing perfect distributions and will settle for the 4x unearthly

If you are looking for cheapness in searching, I think the best balance is unearthly in the skills you want, tragic in keeper and the rest as the default any.

For the cheapest possible wage, you need to go 4x unearthly in the skills you want and minimum in all others. But this does cost more per search, but has a higher chance of a lower wage.

After having had a head coach with terrible stamina, I found that I like my head coach to have a highish stamina. Makes the players more playable for both their training matches with me and for the u21 NT, and stamina doesn't cost a lot more when it comes to wages

I scored this 59yo coach on the first roll. 4x16 in the skills I'm training this season. Would love to swap passing and stamina, but I'm tempted to keep him, knowing that it might cost over a mil to get a better one.

Is 10 passing too low? Hmm.
