Asunto: Season 11 A-League Goals

I will watch it when I get home from work, or when it finishes loading, whichever one comes 2nd (I get back form work in 9 hours time, stupid going over the limit and having slowed internet speed)

Zdrilic to Bade gets quite a work out.

The question is why didn't Zdrilic do anything like that last night :@. Could have used Zdrilic to Byers, or Zdrilic to Richter, instead of Zdrilic to crowd or empty space :(.

I agree, although the defense was much better last night than from Boyd Singers today.

yeah that's true, at least we can almost be assured that Boyd Singers are going to be the side auto-relegated.

Maybe in NT, against better opponents[?] you need better passing?

When I was in IVth league my formidable passer high winger was just awesome - dribbling, getting assist etc. In 3rd league in 5 games he ain't got one assist...

Maybe, although Zdrilic isn't that bad in passing.

I think my fave was TBF's 2nd goal. North->Zdrilic->Timpano->Flamant who scores on the turn.

That was a cracking goal. I remember watching it thinking there was absolutely nothing my players could have done to prevent that. I was also thinking about how lucky I was to have a 2 goal cushion at that point.

Some quite nice goals this round I thought.

Still a bit peeved about my disallowed goal. Don't see too many of them in sokker.

Verwilst has been on a bit of scoring drought up front as well (hasn't scored since the cup final win and not for some time in league)

Yeah, seemed the only way to break our hit-the-bar-or-post marathon, and even that hit the bar before going in.
