Asunto: Champions Cup

Managed to successfully navigate a tricky round 2 match against the South African champions (having beaten a very weak Georgian team in round 1 last week).

Fortunately i noticed they never change their formation and only ever play 3 at the back, so i played with 2 high wingers who enjoyed a lot of space.
Things were a little tight until my opponent had a defender sent off, and for some strange reason hadn't set any conditional orders, so played the rest of the match with just 2 defenders!

To be honest, my goal tally should have easily hit double figures, but the finishing of my strikers was abismal. Bit worrying really.

The draw for round 3 has just been made and i've been somewhat fortunate in drawing the Colombian champions. They hit a rating of 68 last round and did manage to knock-out a better side on a rating of 72, but compared to some of the other teams out there, i've got to be happy with the draw.

Just quickly went through the last round of matches.
There are 6 teams that managed to get a better rating than my rating 76 this round.

Shockingly, 1 team even hit a rating of 80!!!! First time i've seen a rating reach that mark.

Fortunately 4 of those teams are above me in the rankings so i'd only be able to play against these sides when i play at home in the Champions Cup, which would be in the quarter-finals at the earliest.

ive seen 80+ ratings on the NT scene but not team.

Survived that round quite easily. As an added benefit I avenged dandy as this side had knocked out the terrrors last year.

Next match is going to be real tough. Up against the Spanish Champions in the last 16.

They got 75.1 average rating last round, just a wee bit less than my 75.6.
