Asunto: [U21] JMPunk

Hello

I would like to throw my name into the hat for the U21 Scotland job.

I feel I now have enough experience in the game to give it a go. I’ve been playing since Oct 2007 when Dandy got me hooked & I’ve managed to gradually improve my team over this period. Last season I managed my furthest cup run (semi finals) & finished 3rd in the Premier league.

I have enough free time to devote to looking for players / scouting opponents / mailing managers / picking tactics etc.

Anyway as this will be a season of friendly matches it will give us some time to build a new squad of players for the qualifiers next season. We have a lot of decent players who will be turning 22 in the next few days so I will be looking to check the squad right away & advise you all of where our weaknesses are so maybe if you are training in that area you could look at training some Scottish prospects. I’ll give you examples of what the skills of the best players in our squad are so you know what you kind of level you should be aiming your players for & I’ll let you know why players are in/out of the team or squad. You can probably expect me to be mailing you quite often requesting updates of players.

I will post on the NT forum regarding team selection etc & I will be open to any advice you might have.

I do have a few favourite formations that I like to use but I am always open to change a few things based on opponents. I will most probably not play with 3 strikers up front like the current U21 formation so you can expect a different formation going forward. Although I might change my mind when I see the squad.

I've had to put some new air fresheners in the NT office. Smell's like ironside has been using this place as an illegal poker den. :)

For those of you with O Sokker I've noticed the link to the NTDB is working again so you can update your players by clicking on the Scotland flag under the players name.

yeah i managed to get hold of the guy that did the osokker and get him to link to database some users might need to update there firefox for it too work though

I 'think' I updated all my U21 players. If the ones who are almost or are good enough need training in anything let me know.
