Asunto: [U21] JMPunk

Greetings from the Scotland U21 office. I've just seen the draw for the WC on Sky Sports & I am raring to go.

When I took over the job the team was in trouble. We had dropped down into the 4th seed rankings & Bob Machardy was the best player in our squad and the accusations were fairly flying about! I managed to consolidate the team and over the season & we have had some good results. We managed to move up about 6 places in the rankings to get a 3rd pot seeding. It took me a few games trying out formations before I found one that suited our players. I discovered pretty quickly that the players were not suitable to play the usual formations I use with my club team. We played at least 5 or 6 20yo's in every game last season so the core of our team is pretty good.

So let's get stuck into those Norski's & qualify for the WC!

In other news with my club team I finished 3rd in the Prem again and won the Scottish Cup!!!

i know your job will probably be really busy for the next month or so , what with the euro's and olympics - and will you and daviebhoy behave ?

Absolutely. I will also be in Norway working for at least a week in June where I will continue my ongoing discussion with my Norwegian colleagues, is Scottish salmon better than Norwegian salmon. Also I will advise them that we are going to knock them out of the u21 wc.

As for the olympics I won't be watching that. The only gold I am interested in is Gold Oil. If you want to make a bit of money you better top up your shareholdings with these bad boys. Also I hope to win this election campaign.

Does the same apply to sharoni who is running for a 3rd term? Coaches generally get 2 terms. One with a season of friendly matches, one with qualifiers. Look at U21 history if you don't believe me. However if I was to qualify I would probably run for a 3rd term. It's only fair.

The election is not done & dusted. At the end of the day you could still win it. If so then fair enough. You won't hear me moaning about it.

If for some reason you don't think you can win then you could try running for election in another country.

Your basically saying JMPunk is more electable, so could you nae stand so I can get a chance, nae a vote winning speech really.

If you think JM is the man for the job, why not ask to be his assistant and then take over when he can't be bothered with it, nearly happened this time.

That would be sensible.

Alternatively you could try and get some experience managing a smaller (there are some) Nations U21 side, they say I've done this or that. Probably beat JM in a friendly or something!
