We return to work today after a 2-week holiday in Poland.
In the last two weeks we played two sparring matches :-)
Scotland - Venezuela 1:2 * We had more goal situations in this match ... but the result went out into the world. I am sorry about this result.
Scotland - Norge 5:3 * Statistically we were the worse team, a lot of goals, a red card - seemingly a win, but it was not a good game.

Well...I have seen all the groups at the World Cup and I wonder what I am writing - because I am satisfied :-)
The group is tough but which group is not tough at the World Cup? All the best teams play here.

BRASIL - Definitely the toughest rival, a strong squad with strong players. My last match with this rival ended in a draw (it was also at the World Cup) Brasil - Polska 0:0
DANMARK - Having never played against this team, I don't know what to expect. I will have to analyse a lot and give my best in this match. The coach of this team is a legend and administrator from Romania - Clau.
ESPANA - Another interesting team from our group that is also strong. I've never played against them and that's another reason to put a smile on my face. I like a challenge and this is by all means the team for one!

I would like to invite everyone to today's match with Costa Rica. A few changes in the line-up. For the win Scotland!

Brasil coach and team are super strong, Spain has a large community and huge potential and Danemark coach is very experienced one but i think you still have huge chances to quaulify

Each of these teams has a sizeable community, so I don't know what we are doing there! :p
We have a good chance and I will try to take it!

Total domination of our team, two shots taken by the opponent is some kind of game mistake (:P). I tested various options on the throw-in, corners etc - we had a few extra actions from this. It worked out what I wanted to test. Next week is the match against Ireland U25 - we will be testing something completely new, so the result will be secondary :-)

We finished first in the group against rivals such as Italy and Vietnam. I am very happy with my work. Next season is a fight for the World Cup. I want to get out of the group, that's the goal - if I can do that I will be very happy.

We played a good match in which we had complete dominance. We had a lot of shots today but it was the set pieces that gave us the win today.
Our strength in young players is very big. And we showed that today. Quite a few players passed training today - we had no injuries or cards. That is what I am most happy about.
We also tested a new tactic today. I am built and motivated for the next match against Crna Gora.

Thanks, lads. Match next week already accepted. We play with a very experienced user - NS who plays at the highest level in Poland - Ekstraklasa.
The team also advanced to the World Cup. So it will be a good test before the match against Brazil, which is just two weeks away. Let's keep our fingers crossed now for our players to all be healthy! GO SCOTLAND!! :-)

Scotland - Crna Gora 4:1

We played another good match. I tested another tactic for the World Cup. And I think we now have 4 good tactics to achieve something in our group....
We lost a goal because the pace of our defenders was too low. The only thing I can say is that they are not the main players of our team. Next week is the most important match of my career - please keep your fingers crossed for this match! :-)
