And I invite everyone to the first and most difficult match in our World Cup qualifying group.
Romania is 7th in the ranking. A few years ago it was more popular, today it is still a good and tough team to get through.
They have won the World Cup 5 times. 3 times they came second in the final and 4 times they enjoyed 3rd place.
It promises to be an interesting match, keep your fingers crossed for the Scottish team :-)

I waited all week for this match and set my tactics for Russia instead of Romania. How angry I am cannot be described. In my opinion the result is undeserved, we had a lot of situations that we should have used. The ineptitude of our strikers was very high and we didn't win this match. The tactics were also not what they should have been and that is what I am most angry about.
This is not the end of the battle for 1st place, I apologise for the result, I will try to improve things in the next matches.

Severna Makedonija - Scotland

The next game on Saturday for the points, hopefully we'll take the whole pot here :-)

Severna Makedonija - Scotland 2:5

I am not very proud of this result. We had by far the better players in this match, so the result should have been much more certain for us...
We lost two goals, the first goal being as early as the 2nd minute, so I invite you to have a quick look at the match as it looked.
Veljo Budžakoski [36322587] - this Macedonian player made a joke of our defence. I don't know the skills of this player, but I doubt he is a high level player. On top of that he is out of form and what he did to our defence is perfectly illustrated by the first goal.
I can't find the pluses in this match, we had 70% of the game in the opponent's half and we only found a way to score 5 times.

You know me, I am never satisfied. It must always be a certain victory! :p
You could tell by the stats and the play at the half that it was a good game by us.... But if you saw the first 5-7 minutes of the match you would know what I mean. This game is starting to piss me off ;p

A player who isn't at the top of his game in terms of skill and isn't in top form, passes our WHOLE defence like it's Lewis Hamilton.
I'm delighted with the win... but the way this game tests my patience is really on the edge now :p

I apologise for not being active in recent days. I had a tiny holiday in Valencia. Lewandowski got a contract at Barcelona, so I had to try my hand in Spain :p
A few words about the match. We had a very big advantage ... This is what I wanted to achieve already in the match against Severna Makedonija.
From the 42nd minute we played one player less, it didn't cause us any major problems.
We were much better in this match and that is something to be happy about :-)

We should be very proud of our team, we have the best situation ever with the ranking, we are not stopping!
The situation in the group could have been much better but it's not the worst, I could say it's very interesting and I think it will stay that way until the end of the qualifiers.
