România - Scotland

The match for 1st place in the group, hopefully now I won't make a mistake and set up good tactics. For the record, in the first match I set the tactics for Russia from last season.
I have over 40 tactics in Scotland and it's easy to get confused...
It is not an easy match, we have problems with the players in defence. Several good ones are out with injury.
I'll be honest, it's a big problem to win against Romania.... but we did well against Italy so there is a chance here too :-)

România - Scotland 2:2

I'm pissed at the result... We played well, the injury to the striker did its job. We could have easily won it.
We lost the first goal from a penalty kick, we didn't lose the second goal until the 79th minute.
I'm pissed because a draw in this case is like a loss. Again the engine was not good for me in this match. 6 shots by rivals and 2 goals - good performance as usual.

We are 26th in the ranking with 2375.46 points. This puts us ahead of last season's result by just 11 points.
I am not satisfied with this season, we had a lot of wins, two important defeats against Romania and Bolivia. All this got us out of the group and into the World Cup.
The focus will now be on the two friendly matches against England and Kypros.

Scotland - England

The match is already set. It's a friendly match in which we'll be testing one new formation, I want to see how it will look against a better opponent.
We only have a few matches left before the World Cup and this is the last chance to test the new settings.

I still don't understand how we didn't win this match, we were much better, we had more situations.
Maybe Romania is the better team.... but they scored the goal from a penalty and in the last minutes... again, we lacked luck.
We had situations where our striker Gordon MacLehose [37053561] shot at an empty goal and missed - that could have ended this match.

When I'm well prepared for a match, I try to be confident already before the match because I know what I'm standing over :-)
