Greetings,
After almost 19 years as a successful Italian player, I'm considering a complete rebuild of my team. Currently leading in the Italian Serie B and ranked 4th among 650+ users in Italy, I've been part of a highly competitive environment for the past three years.
I'm now planning to focus on the most populated and active anglophone communities, driven by a special connection since my childhood. The project involves dedicating efforts to restart training plans for 16-17-year-old players. I've successfully executed this in the past, starting from scratch over ten seasons ago, with many of those players now in their national teams or under observation.
Given the new training system, the process is expected to be easier, with less concern about each player's starting skill. The primary focus will be on identifying good talent.
I plan to concentrate on one or, at most, two nations, depending on the quantity of young players each community can promote from their youth teams. The ultimate goal is to completely rebuild a roster of 10 to 13 trained players, each capable of candidacy for their respective national teams, thereby enhancing the overall quality. The target rating for my future team is a minimum of 77-78, this means easily more for the total roster of their NT. If successful, I might also consider a future candidacy for the national team, depending on community sentiments.
Before proceeding, I'd like to ask the community the following questions:
Are you interested in and enthusiastic about my project, seeing its potential to improve your NT team?
Would you be willing to concentrate on youth teams to produce more 16-17-year-old players, especially in the first half of the season?
Can someone help estimate how many teams are actively promoting players from their youth teams?
These questions are for evaluation purposes, considering that I plan to rebuild my team with a new cycle of young players no later than next three seasons, possibly sooner based on community responses.
The concrete implementation of this proposal depends on the positive response and availability of each community, which is crucial to me. Thank you in advance.
:)

Hi,
First of all, congratulations on the idea, an interesting challenge combined with support for other communities.
In Scotland there are from what I remember 10 active academies, users here usually sell their juniors. Several users like to "take care" of young Scots even if it is theoretically known that they will not be some big stars.
It seems to me that your project including Scotland would be interesting. It depends on what kind of numbers you are interested in. Out of 10 active academies for the last 3 seasons, we haven't hit any mega-stars. I myself have been keeping a database of all, really all u21 players who play for active clubs for 3 seasons. I myself coach 6 Scottish players, in fact, probably 1 of whom could have some relevance for the U21s and maybe for the adult NT (the rest are more like back-ups, reserves because it's been tough with some positions).
All those running academies don't procrastinate promoting players, putting them up for TL - it didn't happen that anyone gave any prohibitive prices. I think there should be no problems with buying up more talent....jew if they appear.
I'm speaking as a U21 coach, I wouldn't want to speak for the community but I think it would be an interesting project.
I am available to help if needed.

Very happy to feel such welcomed! Thanks to both of you for your support from NT!

Thanks again for all your appreciations and availability. So important for me.
10 active academies are an ideal number for well starting this kind of project, the more common 16-17yo player are promoted in a whole season, better will be the final result. It will be up to me to check their best talent.
With my method, no huge promotioned are needed at all, even a subskilled player could develop well, if he shows enough talent. So the accessible prices on the market for new young player from Scotland is another good news.
I admire very much active communities as Scotland, whose actual quality for their NT reflects very well the perfect job just done and it could become even better helped.
More than one community is well responding to my proposal. So about my team, it could be even better for me to focus on more than two nations then.
So considered, before starting I will try to organize myself to motivate more users from Italy on that, among my friends. Due to good response of each community, I can organize myself at my best before starting.
My next team rebuild was expected to start in three seasons, but I will gladly anticipate it. I predict to start after a bit less than two seasons since now. Meanwhile, i will participate to community's life helping with my suggestions, if appreciated. If it's ok for you all, please count me in.

Sure, thank you! I also have good news about that!
Today I talked with DeddeKnight, who is my friend in real life and he agreed to help me with his team, so both starting immediately to search for talented 16-17yo player each season.
This way, forming a 10 player's roster to be trained on friday, ensuring within this week an adequate training staff. They will become his future team definitevely, so longlasting trained.
So, we have just doubled future efforts. About me, I can start in a couple of seasons.
