He left my academy in February and fetched a good price on auction. I don't know why the current owner is selling him already but he was definitely talented, having arrived outstanding with a talent of around 3.8. He is already 19 years old, but is worth a closer look for anyone interested in striker trainees.

I would have liked him in the case if he would have been a year younger season is almost over and he is going to be 20 soon. Other case i need to offload one of my okes to get a new trainee

Formidable junior. Good set of skills for a striker and 17 years old.

I am maybe asking a stupid question here, but how do you guys determine talent? I haven't seen any player with talent stats, so I am assuming it gets worked out by how many weeks the player spend in the training school or someting like that?

Yep! It's one of the most important factors for a young player.

Basically, you need to keep track of whenever the players skill pops in junior school. The number of weeks it takes him to pop is his talent.

Archibald Still was a huge disappointment because he arrived at the school as good with 32 weeks. If he was talented, he probably could've graduated as magical or unearthly. Instead it took him 7 weeks for his first pop (generally don't count that one because players can arrive at the academy very close to the next level) and then had 3 more pops 8 weeks apart.

The most talented players will pop every 3 weeks with the occasional 4 week pop, giving them a talent less than 4. Low 3.xx is highly talented.

Bit old by i guess when he does come out unearthy he has been in the youth for a long time but worth a shout at 3-4 weeks talent:

He would definately get 'n permanent starting position in my line up. I am struggling to get decent MIDS. I guess he will cost a arm and a leg though.

I logged in about 3 hours late. I could have bid R18m for him.

Anyway there is always next time.
