MarcL [del] para Todos
Hi all,

I've decided to run for the position of manager of the U21 NT.

I've just completed my 11th season of Sokker. My successes include winning the Superbowl and the Premiership 3 times each, as well as two lower league titles in my first two seasons. I've had a few seasons experience as coach of the senior NT and now, having had a short break from NT level, I'd like to have a go at focusing on our youngsters development.

Those that know me will know that I'm dedicated to strengthening the SA NT squads. I only train SA players and have worked with the developer to maintain a comprehensive database of SA players. As U21 coach, you can expect me to keep in regular contact with coaches with regards the progress and prospects of their players, and I believe that I can help with maintaining a constant flow of young players advancing towards senior NT status.

I also place importance on keeping the community informed with regards the status of the team and will make regular reports regarding matches and opponents.

Jumping straight into WC qualifying will make for an interesting time. Our U21 ranking after this first season is almost the same as for our senior NT so, without knowing the qualifying groups yet, we're likely to be competitive but qualifying will be tough. With our small user base, maintaining that level will be a challenge but I promise to do my best and have a good deal of time available to focus on the job.

I'm hard at work on the squad, setting up fixtures, plotting the demise of our first opponents and look forward to working with our youngsters.

NT coach voting time again guys. Lots of time though, two weeks starting today.

There isn't much I can add to what I've said in previous seasons, so let me just say that I'd like to continue working with the u21's.

While qualifying for the u21 WC would've been great, results went much as expected throughout the season and we just didn't have the strength to get there. I think my constant contact with the coaches of the squad players will pay off as we'll have more players getting trained. This will benefit both the NT's. I've continued to maintain the South Africa database as well.

If you're happy with me in the hot-seat, head over to http://online.sokker.org/election.php?pollID=12627&userID=72952 to cast your vote. Thanks! :)

It's that time again, NT coach elections.

Having started the season slowly with quite a few 1 goal losses, the team has recently strung together a good run of 5 victories in a row, culminating in winning a very tense African Cup of Nations Final against Senegal.

As usual, I can't promise too much in terms of match victories and/or World Cup success, given our tiny userbase, but I will continue to do my best to encourage all coaches of South African players to train our youngstes. We've all done a great job so far, as seen from the amazing strength of our senior team. Let's keep up the good work and keep feeding promising young players through.

Please head over to http://online.sokker.org/election.php?pollID=14090&userID=72952 and cast your vote. :)
