MarcL [del] para Todos
Do us proud, Blue Bulls! As the Premiership champions, you guys will be in the Cup.

Since my boys won the Superbowl, there's an outside chance we'll get a place too. The top 33 sides get in, but South Africa is ranked 42nd. That means we can only get in if there are a bunch of nations ahead of us with dual league-cup winners.

Congrats Theunis.

Really nice addition about the Cup.

Wow! The Bulls are the 12th highest ranked champions in all of Sokker! That should mean a good draw. Good luck mate.

The list isn't official and doesn't include the cup winners that will qualify.

Goodluck bro , show what we can do as a nation

I'm in! :)

My first round match is against the league & cup double champions of Bosnia, Da la Buu (managed by Chilly_tz). Our keepers are very similar, my defence is stronger, his strikers are stronger than mine (especially with Nuro injured), but he has the clear advantage in midfield. I'm afraid I'll be going in to this match as the underdog.

Blue Bulls face AC Meuo (a BOT!), league champions of the U.A.E. They are incredibly weak. Only the Bulls two 40 year olds are worth less than AC Meuo's most valuable player!

Good luck to both of your teams.

Well both myself and Marcl made it though. Yes i had a bot so i stolled through. But facing a monster team today. Got my 1st team almost fully fit just with Jabulani on slightly injured but going to make a call later on today if ill give him a go. I have the game against Marcl Sunday which in many ways can decide the league or at least set the tone. Marcl got a easier game today but then again it is sokker so anything can happen

Yep, that about covers it.

This Champions Cup makes decisions trickier. It's fun to take part, but we can't expect to challenge for title without really strenthening our squads. I bought two players and my more expensive one got injured in the first match and won't even be able to play in the crucial match against the Bulls.

The problem with the Cup is that only the league winners (usually the Bulls) and possibly the Superbowl winners qualify. This season I plan to train pace and will have a large group of young players in my teams, so it will make it difficult to juggle them around and still put out strong sides for two matches in a week.

Anyway, hoping I get through and then we'll see what happens in the next round. Good luck to the Bulls.

Good luck to you both!

Yip that is correct this Champions cup brings another dimension to the game, and dont get me wrong loving it, to compete against other nations, but making it hard to field 2 strong sides a week.

Training wise, i also switching back to pace this season which makes it fun. Cup games will see my really mediocre trainees(George,Charles). Wish i had some class act youngsters but havent had a decent trainee since buying both Mahule (from Marcl) and Ricardas(foreign import). They will just have to make due in the cup.

going to be interestng game today. Good Luck Durban think you will advance and keep SA name high.

Good luck to you guys.

Have had to switch to pace training also this season.
