I managed to scrape through 3-2 with a 90th minute winner! :)
I'm probably lucky though since I had the better side and really should have done better. My tactics weren't great.

My opponent in the last 32 seems to have a similar level squad to me, so in with another chance next week. Will have to take more care about strategy this time.

That is great a win is a win or that is how i look at it. Hopefully you can put another win together next week to keep SA flag high!

PS i support you fielding a sub par team sunday in our match to ensure that your okes are fresh ;)

Woohoo! Scraped through again (3-2), thanks to the opponents having a player sent off quite early in the match. We went behind twice and clawed our way back.

In to the last 16 now and I've drawn the Polish champs. We've done better than I could possibly have hoped for, so I'm satisfied even if we're outclassed next week.

Our cup run has ended with a 0-3 loss to the Polish champs. I thought we gave them a good run for their money, though we weren't really much of a threat in front of their goal after the first half hour or so. Two of their goals were pretty soft, one from an horrific backward pass by Mosa, and another goal mouth scramble that should have been cleared. The way the tactics played out, Mosa saw far too much of the ball, being the second lowest value player in my lineup.

Final stats were 4 shots to 8, marks 63.6 to 71.1, we had the possession at 52% while they had the territorial advantage at 53%.

Theunis hammered his first round opponents and looks to have another 'easy' match next week. Go Bulls - you're our best hope this season.

My boys conceded a goal in the 2nd minute, equalised in the 90th minute, and then went on to win 3-1 on penalties! :)

Unfortunately, we've drawn the German champs in the next round and their team looks substantially stronger than mine. :(

just very happy with the win, managed to pick up a red card but luckaly got a easy cup game in between so going to get rid of the red their.

The Germans beat me 0-2. I was quite pleased with the performance of my team, being let down largely by form.

The opposition scored very early, in the 4th minute, with their 82 rated striker beating my defender in a 50/50. We held them until half-time. Oddly enough, it was the sending off of one of their defenders which got them their second goal. Their wing moved back to fill the gap in the defensive line. The free kick from deep inside their area found one of their mids who somehow broke through to score.

Congrats to the Blue Bulls for a fine 4-1 win. Their opposition in the next round, from Switzerland, looks quite strong.

had a look at your opponent and thought 0-2 was really a good score considering the class of those players.

i had a bit of a easy draw, but then again got a hard team, ag what as long as we give them a good run for the money then i am happy

Yes ;) you have more luck in draw ;> champions league is extra money for clubs and you earn more than MarcL.. Today you played vs him and match was very interesting!:) It was your first(probably the most important) step to Championship ;> I believe that in last round you'll settle this fight with MarcL ;) Next quite interesting season in South Africa,bad luck that you'll play matches against bot teams:(
