Asunto: Theunis - Champions Club Cup

Yes ;) you have more luck in draw ;> champions league is extra money for clubs and you earn more than MarcL.. Today you played vs him and match was very interesting!:) It was your first(probably the most important) step to Championship ;> I believe that in last round you'll settle this fight with MarcL ;) Next quite interesting season in South Africa,bad luck that you'll play matches against bot teams:(

Yeah, we often have seasons like that...comes down to the last match. We had one season where goal difference decided the winner. :)

Always is the big games 1st and last game of the season, and ofcoarse cup final ;)
But there has been some close season also, like Marcl pointed out, actually is always tight.
I have also dropped the ball during the season loosing/drawing to other teams.

Always goods games, because we also have fastly different tactics and teams, Marcl is a more defensive team, that strikes on the counter, where i have a less defensive team with 3 okes up front :) makes for great games.

Not tooo bothered about the bots, they will be filtered out very soon, want Black Aces back

Actually got hammered 4-1 in my last match. Was actually very disappointing with my tactics as i was completely dominated. Will be having a detailed look so that we improve for the future :)

Pity that. It's good to see that we're not out of our depth though. With good strategy and a little luck, we can give the top sides a run for their money.

Probably true actually not too bad performance for SA i guess. next season we give them a good go again

Champions Club Cup time again!

Here's a quick summary of how we've done in previous editions:

Theunis (Blue Bulls)
-> round 2, round 3, round 1

MarcL (Durban City)
-> round 4, round 2, round 2

This time Theunis faces the Algerian champions and he'd expect to win that quite easily.
I'm facing the Macedonian champions. They're a pretty decent side but I should beat them despite missing Rapeane at the back through suspension.

My team won 3-0, having completely dominated the match. If anything, I was disappointed that my strikers didn't convert more of their 17 shots but that happens when your better shooter isn't in such great form. Next week I'll have Rapeane back in defence, but Solomos went and got himself sent off to cancel that out! :(

We've drawn PannonFC, the League/Cup double winners from Hungary. Their side looks very similar in strength to mine and they reached the 4th round last season, so it's going to be a tough encounter.

Blue Bulls (Theunis) thrashed his opponent 12-0 but now faces a really tough side, the cup winners from the USA (2nd in their top division).

Yip managed to cruize by my 1st round, but that seems where it will stop though :)

Yes yes, i looked at my squad, and yellow card status, have a couple of okes close to suspension, and when you getting drilled(most likely) u get yellows. and with our game coming up sunday want all my okes for that game ;)
