I think most of you will agree that this was a very indifferent season in the South African leagues. A few of our established teams in Dreams, Nazguls and Kaizer Chiefs turned bot over the past few seasons and this allowed Rovers United to climb into the top 4 for the first time and I think Jackpool will be very pleased with 3rd. Bluebulls, somewhat surpriseingly, ran away with the league this year (normally Durban City provide stiffer competition). Durban City did however demolish Bluebulls 3-0 to take the Superbowl. Bluebulls and Durban City also represented South Africa in an international competition to determine the best team in the "sokker" universe and althought I do not have the fine detail from what I can gather they performed beyond expectations.
In the lower leagues we again had Mpumalanga Black Aces dominating opponents and we welcome Witbank and his team back into the Premiership with open arms (no doubt for an extended stay this time). We have again seen our manager numbers increase, but the problem remain that these guys do not stay on long enough or participate in any form of discussion on the forums and the sides turn bot after a while.
On the international front our sides performed really well. South Africa under new manager brokus beat some teams that most of us did not believe we could beat. A special highlight being a victory over England! MarcL did a sterling job with the under 21's yet again.
What can we expect next year? I think more of the same really. Durban City and Bluebulls will dominate the Superbowl and Premiership again. Jackpool and Rovers United will fight for 3rd. Mpumalanga Black Aces will finally establish themselves as a force in the Premiership. Hopefully some of the managers in the lower leagues will remain on long enough so that we can have more competitve leagues again.
If there is anything anyone would like to add to this review, please do so.

Yes nice review of the season!!!
Another classic South African League this season, where the first and the last game my most important games. Last season Durban City piped me in the league on goal differences, so this season i went full out league action. Managed one of my best season in the league, not conceding a goal till the last game where two slipped past, but still very very happy with the league performance. Seeing i mainly operate a 3-4-3 lineup with only 3 proper defenders it was great going keeping the goals down to two in the end.
Indifferent for sure, lost some old teams this season, Dreams, Nazguls and Chiefs, but out with the old in with the new i guess. I am happy to see that the okes are really fighting for that 3rd and 4th spot and makes it interesting, and also games are allot harder these days.
International front really happy with myself and Marcl performance, we really give some of these teams a proper run for there money that is for sure.
From a Bulls perspective, another season, and at least got some silverware. Got killed in the final but lost to a great team none the less.
Players wise, Selling a old favorite Jabulani Nel, never was the greatest striker, but he managed to do the business for me. Got a couple of youngsters pushing through and hoping to find a replacement for Jabulani in the off season.

Yikes, nearly threw away the league yesterday - Aces gave me a heck of a fright.
I fielded my B team to save my A team for the Cup Final and took Aces far too lightly.
Thank goodness I brought on 3 A team subs at half-time. All 3 played a big part in our recovery, but we still only managed to get the winner 5 minutes from full time!
It's ruined my goal difference lead though and the Bulls now top the table.

Witbank is getting better and better. He brought in some nice transfers as well. Better not take him lightly.

Midway through the season, let's see how we're doing.
Premiership
1. Blue Bulls (19 pts, +43)
2. Durban City (19 pts, +40)
3. Jackpool (15 pts, +1)
4. Rovers United (12 pts, -1)
5. Mpumalanga Black Aces F.C. (9 pts, -2)
It's another dogfight between Bulls and City at the top, headed for the decider at the end of the season. Aces have improved a lot to force their way into a three-way scrap to avoid the play-off spot, though none of these sides have anything to fear from the League 1 hopefuls. The three bots in our division are rightly taking a beating.
League II.01
1. gam pop (13 pts, +3) => new team, doesn't look active
3. JSKABYLIE 32 (11 pts, +1) => new team, manager has logged in recently!
4. pirlo256 (9 pts, -1) => new team, doesn't look active
6. Lebo Kings (8 pts, 0) => very new team, could be active
7. SunIceF.C. (5 pts, -3) => very new team, manager has logged in recently!
This is a busy division with a fair bit of activity and manager turnover. All of these sides have been taken over in the last two months and any active manager could turn the league on it's head with little separating the sides.
League II.02
1. NUST FC (18 pts, +10) => new team, doesn't look active
2. Raid United (13 pts, +3) => new team, doesn't look active
3. mobejaia (12 pts, 0) => new team, doesn't look active
4. espagnel (11 pts, +2) => new team, doesn't look active
5. rams fc (8 pts, -1) => new team, doesn't look active
7. Boateng Devils (6 pts, -4) => new team, doesn't look active
8. Rams United FC (4 pts, -8) => Brand new team, active!
This division only has one bot, but only one manager looks active, StoneCold of Rams United. Although at the bottom of the table, there's no reason why the team couldn't pull themselves out of the relegation spots against the inactive managers.
League II.03
1. Kop End Kickers (19 pts, +20) => Fairly new team and active!
2. calisto fc (15 pts, +2) => new team, not active?
3. Comets FC (12 pts, 0) => new team, not active
4. destroyers F.C (11 pts, +6) => new team, not active
5. superstrikaz (7 pts, -4) => new team, not active?
6. pacific united (7 pts, -5) => fairly new team, active?
7. RMD.CF (6 pts, -8) => fairly new team, not active
8. aya (4 pts, -11) => new team, not active
There isn't a single bot in this division. A couple of sides have managers that have logged in a few times, but saijil is doing a top class job at the head of the division with Kop End Kickers and looks destined for the promotion playoffs.
League II.04
2. m.o.b (13 pts, +3) => fairly new team, not active
3. Kings Park Rangers F.C. (13 pts, +1) => new team, active!
5. ksan (8 pts, 0) => new team, not active
6. Laun (7 pts, -3) => fairly new team, not active
7. gu (7 pts, -5) => new team, active?
8. kassenda (4 pts, -5) => new team, not active
Completing League II is another busy division with only two bots. Yet again, most of the managers do not appear active. chriskaumba of Kings Park Rangers F.C. is sitting third right now but the title is his for the taking if he remains active.
League III.10
1. Mercernary United (18 pts, +11) => brand new team
kyleale only joined Sokker two days ago. The team is clear at the top of the table.
League III.11
1. New P (17 pts, +9) => not active
League III.12
1. the fire team (19 pts, +10) => brand new team
loda88 only joined Sokker three days ago. The team is clear at the top of the table.
League III.13
1. The Outsiders (17 pts, +7) => brand new team
rgdubois only joined Sokker three days ago. The team is clear at the top of the table.

Yes another fight on our hands, then again that is nothing new :)
I hate training techq my okes never seem to slot in the goals.
nice to see it is getting allot tighter in the Prem, love to get rid of those last couple of bots then we in for some serious action ;)
