We have chances against Nederlands ;> of course draw is better than in last wcq ;/ but it's normal.. i'm unlucky and every time when i'm playing WCQ i have really hard opponent :p I'm leaving SA so luck will come back (i believe in it;P).

Group is easier than last time but still hard. Third position is very possible, more than in last WC when we played with strong Costa Rica ;/

exactly, but we don't forget Shqipëria. They have potential and can take points of rivals. Favorite is Netherlands and Scotland, but we could get worse.

If I win or you, I'll wish us luck. I think you're an experienced player, but I don't think I'm weak, or worse. I play less but many have experienced - in Malaysia and Nigeria.

As to your question about Irelands recent results. I'm not the manager, I wasn't in charge and I'm not going to criticise Blackend for a couple of poor results. If you want an explanation then maybe you should ask him.

As far as qualification, I was in only in charge for 2 campaigns. In the first we were 4th seeds, drawn against Lietuva, Norge and Australia and we outplayed all 3 in at least 1 game during qualification but didn't have the strikers to get a result.
In the 2nd qualification attempt we were drawn against Spain and Denmark. There was nothing we could do against Spain, despite a near perfect formation and against Denmark we were 2-0 up after 30 minutes and dominating until they injured our key player. They then took the lead 5-2 before I got a sub on and we lost 5-4.
Despite not qualifying I still got re-elected for the next season in both cases and my record includes wins over full strength teams like Argentina, Mexico, Czech Repulic, Australia, Uruguay, Peru and a 4-0 win over a Seca-led South Africa, though unfortunately not a win over a much weakened Germany ;)

I promise that if I win, I'll listen to your suggestions and advice. I would like us to work together after the election. Good luck!

Why do not you start in Ireland? Ireland and South Africa are similar teams. Blackend have weak results.

sorry but Peru, Uruguay and Australia were strong similary Ireland - but it is also a success.
Where is match with Argentina, Maxico and Czech Republic - It must be a long time ago, because now they are strong teams.

Ireland have never had the strength that those teams had, always been slightly behind. All these matches were quite some time ago so I'm not going to find them and I'm a better manager now than I was then. Oh and Argentina and Mexico were both top 15 teams when I beat them. The Czechs were 8th I believe. I got Ireland to 28th in the rankings before I left.
Blackend is doing a good job and I have faith in his ability so I've no interest in taking over Ireland.

Poland is the opposite. Here is a lot of strong teams and is difficult to advance to the Polish Ekstraklasa. Users with Polish are in the Polish Ekstraklasa after 3 / 4 years of playing - heh another user since 2005 can't advance - is very high level and can quickly learn.

There are times when I wish I had a team in Poland. It's quite difficult to gain any credibility when you're in a small nation and are somewhat restricted by limited finances. I'm sure Marcl has found that out as well.
2010-11-15 20:27:57
So I think I'm an experienced user - in Poland you can learn a lot and I don't think that I'm weaker than you.

You may have experience but I have more

You may have managed a national team for 1 season, but I did it for 6

You may not have a bad league team that's rating 54 but the team I sold 3 seasons ago were rating 64

I have experience of taking small teams at club and national level and making them incredibly difficult to beat. You're stuck in level 5 of Poland after 4 years

I've got my very young team into my top league and with training, they'll challenge for the title. You're going to struggle promoting out of 5 with a team that's on average 3 years older than mine. In 3 seasons time, my squad would wreck yours ;)

Tactically I'm better than you. This is an opinion but ask around, it's an opinion I'm not short of support for. I've also beat many Polish managers above you, including one of your former national managers.

Oh and (trust me, I'm loving this) your main supporter on this and current South African manager, Brokus, thinks I'm a better manager than the current Champions Cup champion, Uamini.

xD

1. I'm not Rafaello supporter.
2. Competition on international forum is only for fun ;> don't take it personally :))
3. Don't invite me to your funny games ;> i'm only observer.
4. Continue without me.. it's going to be really funny :D
2010-11-15 20:59:22
I think that too much to praise. Why you're better tactically? We in Poland have the best tacticians in the NT - we learn a lot, a lot of us advise - look at brokus match with England. I know more than you think, Don't underestimate me, and crossed me because I'm younger. You've had a lot of chance with Ireland and you don't always succeed. Stop me traduce and Humility/modesty is very important.

2010-11-15 21:01:12
It amused me because you're the only visible support I'm seeing for him, I'd call it a happy coincidence. :) As national manager and someone present on this forum you're relevant, I was merely backing up what I said before and you proved useful.
2010-11-15 21:02:08
You're the one who came into my thread in order to stop me, you've got to be prepared for the comeback.
You're actually stretching the rules of the election by being in here. Personally I don't mind as you're giving me publicity.
