Yip, the new ME is not favoring strikers. My best strikers are suddenly missing sitters.

I've decided to end striker training, it is getting boring for me from tactical standpoint and I need a new motivation after 6 years of training since I've never trained anything else. I'm switching to MIDs (mainly tech, pm, pass) which seems more variable and challenging .
I'm going to train technique this and next season so I'm still going to keep some of my strikers like Methula, but I need to sell Pitakathi. If any of you guys are interested let me know, he should pop to excelent pace this week and than I'll put him on TL

Pitakathi looks easily the best 18 or younger striker that we've got.
You really need a striker trainer for him, if he's going to be of use to the u21's. Check with Theunis to see if he wants him.
I can be a backup to train his pace if you can't find a suitable buyer.

I have some interested in Pitakathi but nothing sure, may be you can be the back up, but I think he is too good and expensive to end up with bad owner untrained.
I'll probably put him on TL on weekend.

Preview against Moldova

I didn't really watch it after the Matsau red card. Another dissapointing result..:-(

In hindsight, I think a wing, even a moderate one, would have helped against the formation Moldova used and we just didn't have the quality to break them down through the centre.

Although disappointing, going down only 0-1 isn't that bad, given the red card in the 30th minute and relative strengths of the teams.

Well Matsau would be the winger who would get send off anyway :-) I'm just bit frustrated with the results so far, i know we are playing stronger teams, but with the new unpredictible match engine that seems to be favouring outsiders I was hoping for some better outcome for us..

We'll see how it'll go against Ukraine, but again we will miss Matsau, easilly our best MID next to Molefe..

Despite the loss, a rather strong performance of our side against a tough opponent. Keep it up! We will get lucky one day, so let's hope it will be against Ukraine. Good luck, mate!

Pitakathi sold to an experienced ATT scout of Italian U21 :-) Should be fine there.

Hurray we got a draw and scored 2 goals :-)

Not sure if the high defense helped or not, Ukraine certainly created lots of break aways, but it also disrupted their midfield play and somehow we were able to score 2 goals the same way..
I made stupid mistake with the order and Kalaka unintentionally switched places with Sibaya. At least he covered that left wing better :-)
Btw. I still don't understand the way some of the opponents strikers are dribbling through Cole..

Next week we'll get a rest from tough WCQ matches and hopefully we'll see some goals and win in African derby friendly against Kenya..

Great effort! It was good to see ours strikers actually having a few decent scoring chances.

Just realized we lost another talented defender Mfundo Jooste, who is in bot team..too bad and surprising because his owner was communicating and sending updates and now we lost another defender with senior NT potential..
