My arranged buyer forgot about Kalaka, but he was bought at the end by very experienced Swiss guy, who wrote me his training plans already (will be trained as defmid), so everything should be just fine, he should have good future and certain updates..

Review against Daehan Minguk

Nice win, we dominated the match 17:2 on shots and 64% playing on their half. Korea was clearly weaker and we got deserved win.
The 3 strikers worked just fine and even against 5 DEFs we were able to find holes in their defense line. We could have scored much more goals, our strikers wasted decent amount of chances and face to face break aways against lonely GK.
I'm glad I screw up the substitutions with Lehoko and Ludick (he is unstopabe lately, he scored and shockingly hit the post again), because they both scored.
I'm happy we finished the WCQ with an easy win..We should also get some more wins in upcoming friendlies..

Overall, we only got 2 wins and 2 draws from our 10 qualifiers but I believe you got the best out of the squad.

Consider the average marks for the campaign which puts us level with Ukraine on 50.3 despite their average squad player being worth R5.65m compared with ours at R2.83m!

Unfortunately our best performance of the season came in friendly against Wales..:-)

I think we were able to match even the best teams of the group in midfield and play decent matches, but the biggest difference was in attack where we had to rely on 19 year olds or someone like Ludick, while the other teams had clearly far superior strikers. Again it's a big shame this generation didn't meet with the striker generation in 2 seasons..

Considering the average marks, we have some world class players that can give nice marks, but obviously our squad is very thin and I have even 17, 18 year olds in the team, therefore the lower worth..
Reaching 50 mark is still great, I'm afraid in next seasons we won't be touching that..

Review against Egypt (Misr)

In a little African derby, South Africa versus North Africa we completely dominated and Egypt was very lucky that our strikers didn't score at least 7 goals, we certainly had multiple chances. We outshot them 22:0 and played at their half 80%..
Our defense didn't face any trouble, our MIDs played very well and made some nice through passes behind defenders and our strikers are stronger with every match, if they keep their form, they will be scary in 2 seasons..
Everybody have to watch our first goal form 7th minute, beautifull combination between our strikers Masenia-Serola-Masenia-Ledwaba :-)

Overall satisfying good bye with our 21 year olds..I want to thank this way to all the managers who trained our 21 year old superstars.

Next match against Al Maghrib it's our 19 and 20 year old's turn.

Very good performance. It's a pity our strikers could only convert 2 out of 22 but, as you say, they are young and improving.

Next week is the age update, so I've fired our 21 year olds and made the new team. MarcL has 7 players there at the moment :-)
