Review against Cameroun

Lehoko celebrated his return after injury with an early red card in 11th minute. Luckily Cameroun's strikers were no threat to us at all and they managed to get only 2 shots against us. Some credit must go to our young defenders who are getting better and some of them are even semi decent now:-) At the end of the season (and for next year's WCQ) we might be ok..

Ledwaba redeemed his all time blunder for the ages (missed wide open goal from the small penalty area) with an opening goal. 2nd goal was a nice drive and pass from Serola to Masenia, who managed to score the comforting goal seconds before he left the pitch:-)

Best player today was Kalaka:-)

Our guys put up a fight with 10 men and get us a nice grinded out win:-)

I was ready to call for Ledwaba to be dropped after that miss! Good thing he made up for it later.

The sending off is probably the cause for it, but we seldom have so little possession in a match (44%). Well done to the boys for creating 10 chances anyway.

Totally one sided match against the highest ranked team this season. Obviously the early red card helped us a lot, but Singapore was completely outmatched (73% play on the half, 22:1 shots) and our tactic worked perfectly against them.
Our 3 (basically 4) strikers were tearing apart Singapore's defense and the number of wasted opportunities today was absurd. I don't think I've seen that in a while. This should have ended 15:0..
They had one lonely chance in the whole match (mistake by Mabedi which everybody saw coming) and scored..that was one of the very few times they even crossed the half..

Total dominance for our U20 boys, but the score is dissapointning..

Thanks..and the high off mid worked quite well..somethink to think about against weaker teams. The defense was overloaded with our strikers:-) This "all off" seems to work better against the autodefense than in previous engine..
