Review against Nigeria

Nigeria is really weak, so it was another comfortable victory, our typical performance.. domination, 6 goals and never ending amount of wasted chances :-)

9th win in a row and another points in the ranking, we moved to 58th spot (!), my record in 3rd year with the team!

Sakartvelo's coach ignored our agreement, so hopefully we'll manage a deal for another friendly this week..

Excellent work. 9 wins in a row and unbeaten in 14. :)

and 13 wins in 14 matches (damn you Al Maghrib!) :-) Although we are beating weaker teams I'm still satisfied, our ranking is rising and that was my goal for this season.

Next week it should be win n. 10 in a row, as we are playing Nigeria once again, it would be interesting to compare the number of wasted chances :-)

8:0, my biggest win so far :-) Bad news is injuries for our U21 stars Masenia and Kalaka. Sorry Doglo:-(
That being said, it won't effect our team, because it was probably our last match with our 21 year olds. Next 3 matches should be U20..

Damn...really bad luck :-(
at least he'll only miss one week of training.

Review against Guatemala:

Guatemala played lot of 19 and 18 year olds so at the end we were much stronger even though the ratings were quite balanced. Our U20 boys showed once again where is their strenght and our strikers dominated the match especially when Guatemala made their job easier with tactic that had lots of flawes and holes in the defense. Our mids on the other hand as expected struggled heavily..hopefully they'll get couple pops in PM until next years WCQ.. Winstanley and Kalaka are clearly not ready yet..

16 matches unbeaten (15 wins -1 draw) and 11 wins in a row now..next week is Slavador and then our streak will probably end against the Czech team (although the guy who is coaching it - jonkacz wants to make the match as balanced as possible, so he will be playing U19, we will probably play some mix of U20/21)

well, well, that's going to be a special game for you against the Czech I guess ;-)

That was a very good result against a team with similar marks. As you say, their tactics weren't great, especially at the back against our 3 strikers.

I wouldn't be too harsh on Winstanley. I thought he played some great through balls to Serola, and he held onto the ball pretty well too when we didn't find a pass quickly.
