Nigeria should be easy win. Great idea with the Mini World Cup

I looked for an 'easier' opponent in the beginning to give myself some time to get used to the team. ;)

This is what I've got so far:

SOUTH AFRICA NT SCHEDULE

Week 06: MiniWC or Makedonija
Week 07: MiniWC or Belarus
Week 08: MiniWC or Paraguay
Week 09: MiniWC or Cameroun
Week 10: Azərbaycan
Week 11: as-Saʻūdiyya
Week 12: al-Jazā’ir
Week 13: Indonesia
Week 14: Pilipinas
Week 15: Costa Rica
Week 00: Cuba
Week 01: Andorra

Some easier opponents against whom we can test some new tactics or even more important, some younger players who are very close to senior team. Don't forget we'll play some tough teams (like Belgium for exemple) in the Mini WC, but I'll try to fix some stronger teams in case we have to leave the Mini WC after the group phase.

Great choices you should own them all in friendlies :-) We will play Pilipinas also with U21 on week 00..you can see our schedule on the U21 main page (btw you should may be look into the NT main page also when you are confirmed it is bit outdated, doesn't look very professional :-)

I hope we will meet Czech republic in the Mini WC :-) What is the system? When can we see the groups?

Concerning some young prospects from previous U21 generation from last season definitely Joel Felix, Oscar Methula, Jan Nagoli and may be Henry Theunissen have all NT chances in the future if trained..

- I'll certainly give the NT main page a new look with recent NT news/schedule. I'm having examinations though, the first 3 to 4 weeks, so I'll definitely do my job in an accurate way but those 'extra tasks' will be dealt with at the end of June. ;)

- Czech Republic would be nice indeed. ;) Well, I think we'll be with approx 32 teams, so 8 groeps of 4 teams and first 2 go through to the next round.

- And those 22y look nice at first sight. It's indeed for those kind of players I've scheduled some easier games, so we don't lose track of those 22 - 25 y olds who definitely will be NT stars one day.

In order to gain full track of every potential NT player, to get some nice results, to communicate at a decent level, I'll have some sort of an assistant for this season. Friend in real life, so we understand each other perfectly. ;) His name is BeGe and he'll visit this forum now and then, so don't be surprised. :p

Hello everbody, as Carna said, I'm BeGe. First of all I want to thank him for the position as his assistant. I started a couple months ago back with sokker, but I have already experience with Natinal teams:

- Coach of China
- GK-DEF scout of Belgium x 2
- DEF scout of Indonesia
- Assistant coach of Malta
- ATT scout of Malta
- Assistant coach of China x 2

I will follow the 21+ players and give their managers some advice which training is necessary. And maybe I will train some South African players, scout our opponents en communicate with Carna and you guys offcourse :)
