I think you missed something. BeGe has been playing this game before, but lost interest and quit. But now he's back again. ;)

Seems like we have some nice MIDs and defenders, but just like our current U21 squad we are lacking world class strikers..
btw. we don't have better winger(s) than Champion in unsatisfactory form?

If it comes to defenders, we aren't that strong since most of them are quite old.. Luckily there are some nice younger ones upcoming. In the midfield we do have some world class players indeed! And those 2 strikers are both near triple unearthly, so not that bad.. They lack some secundaries, though.
Bax would play the whole match normally, but since he still was slightly injured this morning I decided to look for a substitute at half time. Normally Chembo would be our first winger, but since he's injured and the other Bax lacks some form aswell, Champion was the best choice imo regarding his skills.

Yeah seems like the team overall is pretty old, didn't study the squad deep, but there is not lot of talent in the 23-26y range. We have some nice U22 talents though..so if trained they could be great for NT..

We were far too good for Nigeria, but the side was especially impressive in the way it completely dominated. Nigeria never had a chance.
I liked the way the mids were able to slide balls through to the strikers, instead of only having to rely on crosses from the wings.
Well done to both of the Sokker SA coaches, in contrast to the real life team which continues to disappoint. That's two weeks running that they have drawn against teams ranked well over 100 in the world. It's a good thing that the new coach, when they eventually pick one, will have 9 months or so before the next qualifier.
