I paid a lot for Serola, but I've got the funds and badly needed a striker.
The plan is to train him to divine pace and then hopefully a striker trainer can do the rest.

sounds like a perfect plan to me! :-)
and: yes, he surely was expensive...

Im kind of much more motivated for the South African u21 than for my own team after todays unbelievable loss..:-((
I dominated my opponent (similar strength) with my tactics, got 13 shots (including some huge chances) and scored only once while he got only 5 shots and scored 4 times (my keeper is superdivine and my defs are all at least divine...)!!!
This sucks big time..after the 2nd game the season is almost over already. this defeat wasn't planned :-((

Tough luck indeed, shit happens.. Now you can spend all your energy here:-)
an easy 7:0 victory against nigeria today.
A pity we couldn't score during the last 30 minutes. Who knows, all of a sudden the goal-difference might be important...
Bad luck for our already weak midfield with the injury of Kalaka. At least, with 12 days he should be ok again against Russia.
On the other hand, I am very pleased about Ramulondi game today. Despite his low form, he caught almost all the balls in midfield, even before our defense had to cut in. the advantage was, that with his mid skills, he mostly made good passes, which allowed us to press on the opponent constantly.
all in all, I am satisfied with todays game, without being euphoric.
We're now 1st in our group, as Russia beat Crna Gora only with a (I guess quite disappointing) 0:3 and Espana beat Israel nut much more than we did, with 3:1.
Dreaming is still alowed, even if the road ahead of us is still very long....
Now a friendly stop against Cameroun before the Russia game...

Nice and easy destruction of the Nigeria defensive wall. The tactic worked just perfectly.
Amazing goal by Serola for 5:0:-)
Shame for Kalaka, but as you said Ramulondi (and to an extend even Lutumba) was very decent indeed, shame for his form he could be more helpfull, but you have to seriously consider him even over healthy Kalaka now..even though you have to take into consideration he playerd against really weak opponent.
Congrats and go on, I believe with some luck you will qualify! This is our time!:-)

thanks to both of you!
Qualification is still far away and Russia and Spain are just much better when it comes to "player material".
So it would be sensational if we qualify...
Against the stronger Opponents, Ramulondi might indeed be an alternative for midfield. Lutumba was strong as well indeed. We'll see, I'll try to figure something out against Russia ;-)
