it was a well deserved victory, without giving them more than one serious occasion to score.
But it wasn't our best game either...fortunately Serola was cold-blooded today and scored 4 out of 5 shots, which made it much easier. The limits of our mids were cruelly obvious, especially Lingard was terribly bad, losing every ball or making worse passes than our defenders...it's hard to create some midfield-presure without decent mids. I'll think of something for the next game against the same opponent ;-)
Another important point: no cards or injuries today, while their best forward got a red card and will be suspended in two weeks.

now, let's hope Spain won't score too much against Nigeria, in case it all comes down on the goal difference...

Great performance and victory, I want to remind everone that CG has x time more users than we do, yet they are no match for us:-)
Lingard didn't pass well, but he hardly can have higher passing, so let's hope he just had a bad day.
Serola was the man, he created 1 goal by himself, 1 was pass by Winstanley, who was well positioned and left completely unmarked by CG and had lots of space the whole match.
Methula was also great, btw I told you you can get penalty from those throw ins, if you move striker closer, Methula created 2 goals out of these situations and then scored 1 by himself:-)
Ledwaba was little invisible, let's hope he saved some tricks for the rematch..

Well done and our WC hopes are still alive..

I would even have bought him for 937 500 $
