Hej til alle!
Sorry if I don't speak danske, but I'll try to learn some words and phrases.
I'm going to Europa in june (I'm 29 y.o. and will be my first time in your continent). My brother is studying since february at Porto. We will go to Aarhus at June 29 and will go out at July 1st (ok, I know it's short time, but I'm doing my doctor degree and I haven't much time).
Well, please, we want to know some good places to visit, a cheap transport to go from the airport to the downtown. We are looking for some hostels at internet now.
Mange tak! And sorry for creating a new topic.
Edit: Link to my brother's team.

Aarhus???!! Come to European best city! COPENHAGEN!
We would like to know Copenhaguen, but it was much more expensive than go to Aarhus from London by Ryanair.
Perhaps some managers from Aarhus should give you some pointers. But if you tell us what your interests are, like theaters, museums or some thing lokal, then we could help you better:-)
Welcome to Denmark, the happiest people in the world:-)

You should be aware that Aarhus Airport is actually located pretty far from Aarhus. If you grab a taxi, it'll cost You more than the plane ticket from London (650 DKK / approx. 85 € according to their home page)
There is a shuttle bus to Aarhus. (95 DKK / approx. 13 €) It takes 45 minutes.
Aarhus is not a very big city (250.000 people) so when you find out where 'downtown' is, you'll have all bars and discos within walking distance. Also, check this page.

I agree with buur.
And if you want to try old school danis cooking you should try Raadhus Cafeen at the city hall plaza.
I don't know about hotels tho.

Hmm thanks a lot everybody for the information! :)
We think to know old places, history, maybe churchs and theatres. And Agf arena too.

Forget about the stadium - it can only be a dissapointment, if you're Brazilian. :)
If you like old stuff, you should visit Den Gamle By - The Old Town. It's the biggest tourist attraction in Aarhus. Here's a link. It can be a bit touristy, but it's actually a very nice place, if the weather is good.
Aarhus Domkirke - the cathedral - is also worth a short visit. It's not Saint Peter's, but it's got it's charm in it's own way. Link
Aarhus Teater - the theater - is nice. But you'll probably have a hard time finding a play you understand. :) Link (Danish only)
City walks is always a good idea. You can find some here. Guided tours is also a possibility here.

Thank you very much to all.
If you want to come to Florianópolis, or any city of Santa Catarina State, I would happy to help you too. :)
