Asunto: [NT] Løs snak

updated all my almost good players

Today its going to be my last match in this campaign,
As I am not a big talker, I will try to summarize it in few words,
We finished our group in the same place we were accepted to be,
but if I wasn't totally surprised by the tactic of Malasya in our first match,
We could finish 2nd and send Polska home after beating them in the last match :(

About the future,
Our NTDB is now almost 95% updated,
We have a great u26 generation, that with the help of some of the oldies
(mostly strikers as there is no really promising one until 23)
So if I will be re-elect, I will use them next season (U can see my favorite 13-14 players in our match today and last week).

Last match is missing in the U21 schedule but I hope I will find some nice opponent soon (if you have some wish, just tell me about it and I will try to fix such a match):

Hej Coach. Jeg har ikke nogen personlig interesse i det, udover at jeg selv trænede dem engang, men er ikke både Tønnes og Nørkjær bedre keepere? I hvert fald bedre end Løvring? De er begge på listen, så du kan se deres skills:

Jo men de kan ikke spille på U/27 holdet jo... ;) Men jo, til VM-Kval og VM vil de være backup hvis formen hos Fevre og Avery svigter...

Og Tønnes er 33 til næste VM, hvor at Fevre kun er 31 og Avery kun 28... ;)

Fresh news from the U21 team

The friendly schedule is already complete - let's take a brief look at all our opponents for this season:

France WCQ (Weeks 1 and 13)
French team will be definitely one of the greatest challenges of this season. They have pretty good players so we will have to work hard to try to balance our handicap. Moreover it's the first match which is always a bit more difficult than the others. I will write more about France in my preview.

Senegal WCQ (Weeks 2 and 12)
After a difficult match with France the match against Senegal should be a place to relax a bit. They have some decent players so there is no place for underestimating the opponent, however grabbing a win should be quite easy.

Cyprus WCQ (Weeks 4 and 10)
The match with Cyprus will have a special flavour for me, you know. The speciality might have been even greater if a Czech manager would have won in the elections. However for us it might be better as the current coach seems to be weaker. Combined with the strength of the team, I hope the win shouldn't be hard to get.

Honduras WCQ (Weeks 5 and 9)
Teams from Central America are somewhat hard to cope with in general. Sometimes they have strong generations whereas sometimes their players are pure crap. Honduras seems to be the second case - I hope I am not wrong :-)

Latvia WCQ (Weeks 6 and 8)
Latvian players are a big surprise for me - as they seem to be quite weak for a team from 3rd pot. But that's a good news for us!

Let's look at our friendlies now. Even though I had no geographical intentions when I was making our schedule, the result came out rather intriguing - we will be playing against three countries from Northern Europe and three countries from Central Europe:

Norway (Week 3)
Adaca told me that a friendly against Norway is always popular and I am happy that I managed to arrange this one. They are probably slightly stronger than we are but I will do my best to win this match.

Sweden (Week 7)
Moving to the east :-) It is difficult to write much about this match now. It will be likely an U19 match and there is a lot of scouting to be done first.

Czech Republic (Week 11)
Even though Czech Republic will give us an advantage by using U20 players, it will be still tough match. I know roughly Czech players and there are several top players.

Finland (Week 14)
You know I was running in Finnish elections first as I had known the team of Finland the most from the Northern Europe national teams (as I was an assistant over there). However the times have changed and Finland isn't that strong as I was used to. We will play either U20 or U21 match (or we will see there is a lot of time for discussion).

Slovakia (Week 15)
Finally it is Slovakia who filled the last free week in my friendly schedule. Slovakian team is led by Vladoch who is pretty decent tactician so the match will be quite interesting (or at least I hope so). The age limitations are still under discussion.

Germany (Week 0)
A match with Germany will be the last one in this season. German coach will be playing combination of B-team and younger players while we will be playing the top team.

As you can see, we will be playing friendlies against top countries, which will be quite challenging but I hope it will be more fun than facing the teams from the end of the ranking. I hope you like them.


I have started to build my official staff. I have asked Niller007 as I think it would be fair if we could work together (and I hope he will accept :-)). Then I have asked few friends of mine (jezo - pretty experienced coach of U21 teams, andyS and LaBamba). However I would be happy if my staff is large - so anyone interested is welcome :-)

First week as coach, and the match program at forum- nice work :-)
