Asunto: [NT] Løs snak

Group D has had two more rounds of games. Last week against Malta, which was a huge disappointment, we totally dominated the game, they had 4 shoots on goal and guess what, 4 goals!?!

Today things got much better, we have won against our direct opponent for a spot to the VM. I am very proud of the way the players reacted today.

Match 4: Malta vs Danmark 4-4

Match 5: Danmark vs Österreich 2-1

Thanks Lazlo! We are at the half way of the journey, played 5 and we have 5 more to go. At this moment we are in pole position on reaching the VM, but the return match against Österreich will be of a mass importance. A win will be like fresh air, I do hope Danmark will play outstanding in two weeks time.

Meanwhile, next week we play a U28 friendly against Hayastan.

Danmark U28 vs Hayastan U28 2-1

We played today a U28 game against Hayastan. It was a pleasant encounter, good that we did not have injuries and as well we won. Two mids had their debute today for the Senior Team: Ole Poulsen and Lucas Øbo. They had a decent play and I was satisfied with their game.

Next match, the return game against Austria.

Yes, your link works. The "press flag" function (think it is a Skunk feature) points to a page that says "under construction".

I don`t use skunk or osokker(which I think is already down, not working). I update players directly through the DB.

Österreich vs Danmark 1-1

On Saturday we had our return leg against Austria. I expected a tough match and it was. They started well with a penalty, fortunately we didn`t concede a goal, but after some minutes Byskov dribbled all their defence and scored a wonderful goal. They had some good goal chances, we have hit the bar for two times, finally it ended 1-1.

We have four remaining matches. Hope for the best!
