Today we played a U25 game against Albania. It was nice to see the youngsters playing for the NT.
It was a decent training to see how our U25 youngsters can perform for the Senior NT.

One man show today for Frans Iversen with his hattrick against Scotland. The U27 team had an excellent performance and played wonderful. Great job for Würtz for defending the goal and saving a penalty into the last minutes of the game.

By the way, next week starts the EURO U27 Championship. We are in a very difficult and interesting group.

First game is against Poland U27. Tough match, but it is our duty to enjoy the competition and make the most of it.

Euro U27 Championship

21st of December - Polska vs Danmark 6-0

The first game of the Euro U27 was a huge defeat against more powerful Polska. Playing defensively didn`t help at all. Unfortunately the skills diference is huge and the lack of secondary skills of out players (defs and mids) made the difference in favor of the Pols.

28th of December - Danmark vs Norge 1-1

Today we had our second game of the group stage against neighbours Norge. It was a very even game with Norge dominating the mid line from time to time. Wurtz and Ericsson were the heroes who kept us alive into the game even though Wurtz had a big mistake at the 0-1 goal of Norge.

Last game is against Belgium, another powerful team, this round they have beaten Polska, 2-1.

Euro U27 Championship

4th of January - Belgium U27 vs Danmark U27 2-0

Happy New Year to all Danish community! We have started the year in sokker with a defeat against more powerful Belgium. The story of the game was written in two minutes, with two consecutive chances - goals by the host team.
We pass good, but the mids loose the balls very easy, the lack of secondary skills are to blame.

Next opponent into the 17-32 places is Portugal U27. We play away again.

Excellent win against a better opponent. The team reacted very good with a new tactic, winger option.

EURO U27 Championship

25th of January - England U27 vs Danmark U27 4-3

What a game yesterday against England. A very beautiful encounter, 7 goals and many more goal chances for both sides. We could have entered into extra time only if into the 88th minute Nørregård would have scored 1 vs 1 with the goalkeeper.

Last match of our Euro U27 season is against Nederland.

1st of February - Danmark U27 vs Nederland U27 6-2

Yesterday we have had the best game of our Euro Championship season. A convincing 6-2 against more powerful Nederland. Haugaard scored four times now, after scoring three times against England. He is a genuine striker, a real scoring machine.
