1st of February - Danmark U27 vs Nederland U27 6-2

Yesterday we have had the best game of our Euro Championship season. A convincing 6-2 against more powerful Nederland. Haugaard scored four times now, after scoring three times against England. He is a genuine striker, a real scoring machine.

World Cup Qualification - Group A

Cymru vs Danmark 0-3

Saturday a new campaign for qualifying to the VM has started. Our opponent was Wales, ranked 56th in the World rankings.

The opponent was a decent one, but the force of our players was much bigger. Haugaard was yet again in excellent form, snatching 2 goals. This guy doesn`t miss a change to score. The only down side is the injury of Lasse Achmed for 8 days, so most probably he will not catch the 2nd game against top side Nederland.

Defenitely the best qualifying match we could have dreamed. The players have been wonderful, Wurtz did magic into the goal line, everyone played like true champions against the vice-champions of last World Cup.

Hard loss yesterday against Germany. I did not expect having such a hard match, but Germany is Germany and they have super powerful players. I do hope in the return match when we will play home the tide of the game will be different. Meanwhile next week we take on Nigeria and we shall use some of the unused players into the first three games.

Fourth game of the group ended in a definite win against Nigeria, all strikers scored, Haaugard and Westerberg with a hattrick and Buhr with 7 goals. A game without history, only the number of total goals scored by our team was the only question.

Next week we are free from the qualifying games and will have a friendly against Isreal.

Friendly - Week 6

Danmark vs Israel

Tomorrow we are free from the qualifying games and will play a friendly against Israel. I will try an experiment and will try to set a team with Danish players that play for the National Team and are owned by Danish users.

I hope I will find enough for each position.

It was very difficult to find Danish players for each department especially into the tactic 532 which I wanted to play. I prefered playing this game with the reserves and I am glad that the young mid and striker line did their part quite well.

Next week we`re back with the World Cup matches. We shall meet Canada who just beat Germany, 1-0. So, it will be a very competitive game.

Complicated game against Canada, the group leader at that moment. They managed excellent games against Nederland (1-1) and Germany (1-0 win), so I expected a hard encounter. And so it was, they had a couple of 1 vs 1 chances, so did he, but they even missed a penalty.
Our substitutions paid off and Nordvig alongside Achmed provided Haugaard and Buhr two excellent passes and we scored twice as to deliver an important win which brings us to the first place into the group after 5 games with 4 wins and 1 lost game.

Next opponent is Egypt (aka Misr).

Saturday`s opponent was Egypt (Misr), a low level side. I played more players who do not have the chance to play regularly. The final score should have been higher, but I am glad we did not have any injuries and what is more important than the final score is the win.

We lead the group with 15 points (5 wins - 1 lost game). Next week we have the return game against Egypt.

Last game was a rematch against Egypt. Bolvig and Nordvig seem a very good duo, they are two of you best young mids. Broder Nørregård was in great form once more and has a great first half scoring four times.

After seven games we are keeping the first place and we need to strengthen our position next week when we meet Canada.
