Asunto: [NT] Lord Legolas

Hello friends!

As I promised, I'll write down a few things about me:

In real life:

My name is Julius, 36 yo, engineer in refrigeration industry, married with a beautiful chick :P living in Cluj Napoca (you must visit it, won't regret).

In Sokker:

I'm playing Sk since August 2005.
I'm having some decent performances like:

- 3rd place in 1st league
- silver in Romanian Cup
- silver with Romania U21
- bronze with Romania

Meanwhile I'm training midfielders for Romanian NT's for more then 20 seasons, now I'm having best 18 yo mid in Sk (Carol Oniṣoarã ) and 2nd best (Lucian Năstase ).
I'm Sk official for decades :P probably 2008, I don't even remember. probably i'm getting old.
I'm the main scouter for Romania, and sometimes helping with tactical advices.

My plans with Austrian NT: - I prefer not to promise too much. Firstly to qualify to WC, but my main goal is 1/8 or better at WC.

I can only applaud, Mr Legolas!

Now you will get some votes, but not from me. The minimum goal would be for Austria to be between 20th and 30th place of the world ranking. And of course it would be cool if you could be the giant killer from time to time. That's all!

Austria has not too many players that can compete with the best in the world, in other words our tactical possibilities are limited.
There are a couple of quite good keepers, aging defs, quite good mids and 1-2 close to top attackers, that's all.

Do you prefer wingers to a center formation?
Are you an offense or defense fetishist?
Will you risk playing with a 5th def that may not be 17/17 instead of a top mid?

Do you prefer wingers to a center formation?
Firstly it depends on how the winger looks like, but I don't see a winger being so productive on this ME. I'd rather use 2 wingers, if I have. Mainly I prefer playing on center.

Are you an offense or defense fetishist?
Lately offensive, after I saw what 3 strikers and 1 offensive mid can do :)

Will you risk playing with a 5th def that may not be 17/17 instead of a top mid?
Tricky.. if it's necessary, I can play a weaker def, but only on the center of the defence, and the tactic must be with low defence. but only if necessary. otherwise I prefer using the best players, and do a tactic on what I have.

i'm not a spamer, but if the community wants me to write weekly, it's fine by me :)
scouting it the 2nd most important thing after tactics, so yes, I have to do it regularly.
