Asunto: NT U21 - Genesis

It's funny but Austria has little to no defenders, so I was basically forced to do so. Wenger was thought about when choosing defenders, but his playmaking (10), made him stay in the midfield.

A great win against Germany in today's U20 match. Our players are playing really good right now and we lead the DACH cup with 5 points (1-2-0). Germany was said to be the best country in this tournament, but we prove them wrong. Zeilinger, Lamotte, Wenger... next year will be very good for our squad.

nice to see zeilinger score his first u21 goal. you get to keep that one for 2 more seasons.

A sad tie against Latvia U19. We've been the more active team throughout the whole game, but unluckily for us, we haven't managed to take advantage of that. Important information about our younger players was gathered though, so I don't see this completely pesimistic. We're currently on the second position behind Germany as they have 7 points while we only have 6. Don't worry though, because I think we can overcome this situation and win the DACH cup if played well.

A game that doesn't really need a comment - we were supposed to play U20 but Switzerland fielded U21 players which led to our defeat. This game therefore automatically counts as a victory for Austria and now the only match remaining is against the U20 Germany which will decide who'll win the tournament - fingers crossed it's us.

wow. no defense at all. i know the situation must be terrible as gottlieb is 9/9 and should not be center back if there are better options.
at least zeilinger saved our honor by scoring a hit.

Österreich played a good game, even if a defender has 9/9. You didn't notice that. And Zellinger was a constant source of trouble. Österreich can be glad to have him.

Our defense got slaughtered. The rest of the team did very well. We could have won if we had half-decent defenders.

I'm sorry but the defender situation is that bad when it comes to U20 players - that being said, I think our U21 defenders are way better and should stand to expectations.

Thanks everyone for your votes - that being said, I promise to keep trying my best to put Austria under the light of progression and winning. Right now, the obvious goal is to advance further into the World Cup with the focus being on ending 1st/2nd in the group stage. I believe we have fairly good team and am already looking forward to our next games. In case you'll have anything on your mind, don't hesitate to write it here.

I have prepared a good tactics for today's match, but probably forgot to save it, hence the result. I completely take the blame for this situation and will promise to never make the same mistake again. Good thing that it happened against the strongest opponent, so we didn't throw free points into the trash, however, we still could've won the match and I profoundly apologize.
