ok another dumb ? for ya'll. I have a junior that is gaining every 4 weeks. he has 5 more weeks till he comes out and is form. right now. so he should gain once more before he comes out. i see where players ask if you can prove it. how do you go about proving it? I have a notebook i use to keep records of everything my juniors and trainnee's do each week but I know i can't show that to anyone.

couple more ?'s about juniors. i have another player that gained 4 times at 4 weeks and this last time he gained in 3. he only has 3 more weeks in school and should gain once more to come out at vg. but with the low rating does that make him a 4.0? I have another one that gained in 5 weeks then took 7 weeks before his next gain. he is at very good now and should come out form. in 10 weeks should i fire him because he stinks or just hold onto him and see what i can get for him when he comes out?

proof of talent - take a screen shot of his training graph. when you sell him you can paste it into his public notice.

your player would be a <4 talent as it is (4*4+3)/5 to get the average amount of time it took to pop, making his talent 3.8 if i did my math right. to prove his talent you take a screenshot of the graph, and save it online using photobucket or another picture posting site. When you sell the player you can put the link on the players notes when you sell if you have plus. Also, let people know what level coach you have as if you have a formidable junior coach that means the players talent is actually higher because he would pop more times with a magical or unearthly coach.

And me personally, if you have a junior coming out formidable i would keep him and see what you can get for him or if he is good enough to train. But if you dont want to keep him and his talent isn't good, do not post it as you wont make much money for poorly talented players.

Talent is described as the average number of weeks the player takes to pop. so if yours popped twice in 4 weeks and then once in 3 weeks, his talent is 3.67. I understand it depends on the coach too. If you have 3.67 talent with a relatively weak coach, that may be a very talented player.

As for the other player, that popped in 5, then in 7 weeks, i am guessing the first pop is 5 weeks from the time you got him. That is rather meaningless. A junior comes to your school as if he was training before and you simply don't know if he's close to a pop or not. He may be very close to a pop or he may need a few weeks, you never know. What matters is the time between two subsequent pops. In your case, the talent is more like 7 weeks, than 5 (you can never be absolutely sure with two pops only - it may be close to 7.5 or close to 6.5), which is pretty crappy. My rule is, if he'll come out vg or better, I keep him. Just do not advertise his talent when you sell him ;-) maybe the buyer won't ask

to be honest, that isn't too bad, you are one of the newer teams who started in B leagues, and when starting out most of us recommend an excellent coach for a YS until you can get settled financially.

Just remember if you do get some guy that is popping like every 4 weeks with that coach, ADVERTISE IT!

4 week pops with a formidable coach can be really talented.

and as far as the picture shows, you can lie and say he pops the 3 week more often than he actually does =D
