Asunto: u21 friendlies

you might be right abour Bheki, but Ledwaba hardly ever plays (and thus doesn't get any decent training) anymore and only has weak tactical discipline, he'd be offside all the time...

Sorry about Arthur this time, but he'll get plenty of playtime next season for sure!

yeah only weak TD because he is after transfer..he should be getting pace training in his new team though, as i said I think his previous onwner (surprisingly South American:-) killed him..he was at least 5 skills better at 18-19 than Methula and Lingard and had great talent..he was like Serola..

really a pity :-(

sorry guys, todays game against Switzerlands u20 was a disaster.
We had some terrible Problems with the tactical discipline due to the many transfers, as well in defense as in offense (Lebwada was offside every time :-((.
In addition, our keeper sucked again big time twice and our mids just couldn't make a straight pass.
with out decent passes, the wing-attack-tactic didnt work at all, I guess I have to abandon this tactical alternative...

at least, no injuries today...

I don't think it was all that bad..we had our chances and on the other hand that Bierli guy, does he have superdivine striker skill? Those were some powerfull shots..Tavlibudine again had his "moments", especially the 3rd goal was just stupid..can't wait for next's season goal keeper blunders..

Serola was just well covered, he had no room to even receive the pass..it was not a good position for him today, but it also opened the central defense a bit..also we just don't have a player for this position, Serola's passing isn't good enough..at least you've tried something different, that's what friendlies are for..may be against different opponent it would work better..unfortunately not today..what can you do..

Chapuisat I remember him, it's that lefty from Dortmund?

he was the most successful swiss player, a great scorer. yes, he played in Dortmund and won almost everything with them.

Ísland U21-South Africa U21

On friday, we'll play Ísland in probabely the last u21 game this season (I'll try to fix some u20/u21 mix-games in the last 2 weeks).
They should be beatable as they always play the same way (strong midfield, but only one forward and quite weak defenders. Their keeper looks like this:

We'll try our luck again with 3 forwards, putting their defense under pressure.
Tacic one we'll start with will be similar to the one we used against Russia: tight defense, centrally positioned, 2 def mids against their strong mids, one of mid and 3 forwards.
if we should be losing after 60 minutes, we'll again try a winger tactic (even if we don't have a decent winger, still worth a try to avoid their strong mids.
I'll probabely give Doxakis another chance there as we'll need him anyway next season.
