no injuries this time, indeed but a veeeeeeerry frustrating and totally unnecessary defeat..we we clearly better and had tons of great chances (including several 1 on 1 and even hitting the bar in front of the empty net..) but we couldn't score a single time... and they had 2 real occasions and 1 goal.
I guess the quality of the keeper made the difference massively today. a shame

South Africa U21 - : - Deutschland U20
After last weeks disappointment we'll face an even harder opponent this week. Germany has a terribly strong team, even if they play with u20 players only.
They like to play with a strong defense, mostly 5 man and midfielder that play ling passes to the central forwards. The coach is a fan of "classic sokker tactics", mostly 5-3-2. I don't expect a winger, even if it's possible they switch to a winger tactic if not winning. So their still hard to predict.
I'll try (again) something a little differently with a strong defensiv midfield to catc those long passes from defense. With Gqosha recovered from his injury, we have some more options there.
With Lethsoloyana (@LaBamba: if he has only few days left and you'd like him to play, just tell me!) still injured, Nomvete will start as DefMid as well next to Gqosha and Nyathi.
we'll play with a 4-3-1-2. If losing after 60 minutes, we'll still switch to a winger tactic (all or nothing). Johnson will replace Winstanley and Lutumba would become the Winger:
1. Ntsu Moeti GK
2. Phillip Mxaka DEF
3. David Netshivhazwaulu DEF
4. Musawenkosi Ngwenya DEF
5. Louis Maselesele MID
6. Wilfred Nyathi MID
7. Ricky Winstanley MID
8. Winston Nomvete MID
9. Louis Gqosha MID
10. Pierre Pitakathi ATT
11. Musa Doxakis ATT

more bad news from the injuries-front:
Musa Doxakis for 23 days out....:-(((
Letsholonyane will be on the bench (just in case) as he's by far the best "forward we habe after Pitakathi and Devine, as Spandeel and Jackobs are in tragical form...:-((
we'll have to test 1 forward tactics soon, i'm afraid...

damn...this is incredible..Maselesele out again for 18 days. this sucks big time!
a terrible defeat against Germany u20 today...every shot was a goal with our keeper. The worst one was the 4:1. Horrible...
The wing tactic didn't (again) work at all, I'll have to forget this one. The other one wasn't too bad, at least we hat 2-3 occasions but with only one devent forward there's nothing to do there either.
I have to admit, it's no fun with such a keeper and all those injuries from all the key players (and if they are my players, it's even worse).

I can't load the match now..but looking at the result and espeically another injury for Maselesele..tough time for you and our U21 squad..
