yeah, tactics worked well. class was the difference.
2013-06-01 21:26:03
weak strikers and a terrible keeper

yeah those positions were "wasted" on last seasons's generation..

It's the stroy for this season, as expected mids, defenders and tactics won't be a problem, so we will be able to keep up possession and create chances against better teams..but we are terribly lacking atts and GK and without it, you can't do much..

at least next week the 3 jnjured ley players will be back in the team and we had no injuries today...

there are still the club matches :-)

South Africa U21 - : - Scotland U21

Tonight we face Scotland, another very tough opponent. Again, they don't have any weal spot when it comes to players. But they play very centrally, that's why we will try (again...despite the mediocre experiences) a wing tactic again, this time with a more offensive winger to avoid their def mid. Maselesele is back an will replace Raselemane in defense. Nyathi and Doxakis should both be at +1, reason enough to let them play as they are much better than Devine and Nomvete. This brings us to the following lineup:

1. Ntsu Moeti GK
2. Phillip Mxaka DEF
3. David Netshivhazwaulu DEF
4. Musawenkosi Ngwenya DEF
5. Louis Maselesele DEF
6. Arthur Letsholonyane MID
7. Ricky Winstanley MID
8. Louis Gqosha MID
9. Wilfred Nyathi MID
10. Pierre Pitakathi ATT
11. Musa Doxakis ATT

12. Jan Walker GK
13. Charles Raselemane DEF
14. Vincent Johnson MID
15. Andre Lutumba MID
16. Granwald Devine ATT

yeah...a very surprising 3:3 today against a much superior opponent!

we were a little lucky today, Moeti had one of his better days in the goal and the return of the injured was important. especially Nyathi in midfield played a great game, even after getting injured again (slight injury) after a few minutes only.

and of course, we were lucky their defensive tactic sucked (way too low def-line)..;-)) and our tactic seemd to work quite fine.

wow great result, congrats..I'm surprised our players are still capable of that :-)

What do you mean Nyathi had a great game..Letsholonyane is always the best player every time :-)

Česká republika U21

Are you ready for Hulvert? :-P
2013-06-08 10:07:48
of course! ;-)
2013-06-08 10:14:08
actually, Letsholonyane had some up's and down's. he played some great passes, but lost the ball very often probabely due to his PM skill. Wasn't his best game...
2013-06-08 20:35:56
Blasphemy! :-)

He will get PM training next week. Probable plan this season is 3 weeks PM and defense, 1 week pace, technique and passing

South Africa U21 - : - Malta U21

Tomorrow we'll play Malta, a tough opponent and again a team with hardly any weak spot. They play with 3 central forwards, so we'll close the center. As it worked quite well, we'll try the same tactic and the same lineup we played last week. Even his royal highness Letsholonyane will be playing despite his medicre performance last week ;-p

Im thinking about 30 day forum ban for such offensive comment :-P

Good luck ;-)
2013-06-13 17:56:28
hey, no abuse of power please ;-))

thanks, we'll be in need of that luck ;-))
2013-06-13 21:15:32
Tell that to Carna yesterday he gave me 1000 days forum ban as a welcome gift :-)
2013-06-14 19:54:37
damn..today nothing fit. the tactic wasn't good enough, Winstanley wth a red card after 36 minutes and our keeper was once more in christmas-mood, giving presents...like the 3:1: a clear offside, he still tries to get the ball, drops it and the forward just hat to score into the empty goal^^
