damn..today nothing fit. the tactic wasn't good enough, Winstanley wth a red card after 36 minutes and our keeper was once more in christmas-mood, giving presents...like the 3:1: a clear offside, he still tries to get the ball, drops it and the forward just hat to score into the empty goal^^

Latvija U21 - South Africa U21
Latvija is a tough team with a tactically clever manager, so it will again be a hard match. They like to play without winger and with a 5-def-line, who's playing quite high. We'll try to get some breakthroughs there with our forwards, but it won't be easy.
As Winstanley is suspended with his red card from last game, his royal highness will play the off-mid part. Centrally with switching to a winger tactic after 60' if we're behind. Johnson will take over the def-mid part.
The rest of the team stays the same as I don't really see any alternatives.
So, the lineup will be as follows:
1. Ntsu Moeti GK
2. Phillip Mxaka DEF
3. David Netshivhazwaulu DEF
4. Musawenkosi Ngwenya DEF
5. Louis Maselesele DEF
6. Vincent Johnson MID

damn...our keeper costs us another victory...we had the better chances and the tactics seemd to work just fine...but he had to let pass this stupid and weak long shot...:-(
a pity because I liked the way the team pleyed todaxy, the mids used their spaces, his royal highness used his high tech for some nice dribblings (just a pity he forgot to pass...) and the defender controlled their atts quite well. Only Doxakis was a little weaker today, his form is again getting (too) low. It's such a pity as I like his skill-combination with the high secundaries a lot.
and of course another injury of my player..Gqosha out for anothe 2 weeks :-((

South Africa U21 - : - Switzerland U20
Tomorrow we'll face the swiss u20 team. They are defenitely the favourites against us and the main gial has to be not to lose too high (despite our keeper^^)
They play with 3 central forwards, so we'll close the center again with a similar tactic as the last two weeks that seems to fit quite well to our players.
We have two important absentees in midfield: Gqosha who is injured and Nyathi who got a yellow card too much in the league. On the other hand, Winstanley is back from his suspension. he'll play the offensive part. His royal highness Letsholonyane will be playing in the more defensive midfield again and Nomvete takes over Gqosha's spot.
after 60' and losing we'll try a winger tactic again....I haven't given entirely up on those yet ;-)

thanks! :-)
btw, La Bamba gave me the info that the red card from the league game doesn't count for Nyathi, so he'll play instead of Nomvete :-)

South Africa U21 - : - Cameroun U21
after another (expected) deception against switzerland, we'll face cameroon this friday. certainly a team more in our range with a quite peculiar lineup we'll try to use to our advantage.
it's obvious against this tactic that we'll have to play well centered defensively and wide in attack with a winger.
their weak spot is the midfield with their best player looking like this:
Ebénézer Benle, Age:21
club: dhanab, country: Cameroun
Value: 396 000 $, Wage: 3 175 $
brilliant Form, incredible Tactical discipline
height: 178
excellent stamina, tragic keeper
excellent pace, excellent defender
solid technique, formidable playmaker
formidable passing, solid striker
so we should be able to create som chances. but this leads us to their strong spot, which is their keeper...divine GK probabely already at the age of 20. so we'll need plenty of chances to be able to score....
the tactic will be the one we played against scotland.
no surprises in the lineup, but Lethosloyane will move from def mid to winger spot after 60' replacing winstanley and Gqosha, fit again, will come in as def mid:
1. Ntsu Moeti GK
2. Phillip Mxaka DEF
3. David Netshivhazwaulu DEF

he's the one with the highest tech-passing combination after Winstanley and as Lutumba was very disappointing several times, I'd like to give it a try :-)

sorry guys. this time, the tactic just didn't seem to work out.
I'm just impresse by the cameroons forwards technique...they dribbled our defense over and over. hard to explain

Shame really..we use to beat Cameroon easy..:-( Those days are long gone..
I've noticed the substitution didn't work..you should probably put more time between the position switching and then substitution..
