Yeah true Ludick loves those crossbars. As you say, he might be doing this on purpose :-) May be he made a bet or something..:-) Shooting is bit of random also, I remember training Turkye NT player years ago, he had unearthly striker and he was shooting like 5% on the season..and I had the best team in the league with countless scoring chances, that guy couldn't hit anything, even in form. I also had superdivine striker and he was nothing special also..This season I played young 20 year old striker with adequate striker skill and he scores at every opportunity. So there you go..:-)

Anyway you are right, I'll play high striker Attackers today, because of the winger tactic and their striker skill is more important and usefull with it..

P.S. I'll try to improve my updating skills :-)

Belarus plays similar marks and ratings, so I expect even match, they have a monstrous goal keeper to make it even tougher for our strikers, some nice MIDs and as pretty much everybody else better strikers. They defense is worse, but against our attack it doesn't really matter. Still I believe we will win this match.
To make things fresh, new and less predictible, I'll play with a different tactic again. This time 4-5-1, with Sithole as a lonely striker, supported by very offensive MID Hendricks. Btw his striker skills are almost as good as any of our strikers, plus he has high form, so i hope he will make something happen in the attack area..This tactic also allow me to put Matsau more on the left in the direct line as a "pass supplier" for Methula, so he should receive better passes on the wing..
Kalaka will substitute Hendricks in the 2nd half and switch his position with Molefe, who will try very untypical role for him, I hope Molefe's combination of technique, height, defense and PM/passing will cause some havoc in opponents tired defense :-)
I want to try Masenia for last 20 minutes also, so he'll get his chance as he subs Sithole (hopefully he will already be receiving standing ovation for hattrick in that moment as he will be leaving the field) :-D

Next stop Japan. "Surprisingly" they have better strikers and goalkeepr than us, but their MIDs despite our recent struggles are not as good, so we should be able to outplay them and dominate the match.
As usual the result will depend on how many time our strikers miss the crossbar and hit the goal.
Japan aslo used 2 tactics in recent matches, with 4 and 5 defenders, so we will also switch the tactics in half time as before, first with Methula as winger, than as OFF MID.

You can also come up with ideas about the tactic's name.

oh damn I read it too late..:-( You can try to come up with some idea next time..

Concerning our match against Japan i was bit confused with Ledwaba's very low mark..only 38, despite the fact that he played only 30 mins and doesn't even have low stamina, player's marks are usually bit inflated in shorter time. Despite that only 38, far lower than other strikers? Makes me wonder if his monster skills are really true..especially when he had no talent in junior school..His value seems to me pretty low also, when I compare it to Masenia for example, who has lower stamina, lower pace and similar form..
2012-04-14 12:38:14
That's a very good question.

R1.888m Masenia (19) -> pace 9, tech 12, str 9, other skills 16 (8+5+3) => brilliant form
R1.706m Sibaya (19) -> pace 8, tech 7, str 10, other skills 23 (8+9+6) => brilliant form
R1.436m Ledwaba (18) -> pace 10, tech 12, str 9, other skills 10 (3+5+2) => incredible form

I suppose it is possible that his value is lower because his pass/play/def skills are quite a lot lower.
Maybe look back at his marks in other games where he has played 90 minutes?
2012-04-14 17:55:36
Ledwaba's owner scared me a bit with his bunkrupcy, but he is selling player today, so should be ok. He does play him as MID with "corner" tatic, so can't judge his mark..

He also has higher stamina than Masenia 5 to 3, so the difference is basicaly 3 an 8 passing..Masenia can have high technique subskill, but still weird a bit at least..
I wouldn't wonder about the value, but the low mark in the match is alarming..it should be 48-50

2 weeks to 8 technique, 3 weeks to 9 technique 2 weeks to 10 technique, 3w to 11 with 4 rezidual training, 4 weeks to 12 technique.
at pace he have talent 3 from 9 to 10.
i will continue training pace and tech, maybe after 2-3 month i will change the training on striker.

I don't have a reason to not believe him (despite his devilish nick:-)
That would mean that talents in youth schools are completely useless:-D I thought they are just bit useless:-D

Next match is a derby against friend Marek0090 and his Kypros squad. We made a deal so it would be more interesting and we could give a chance to our younger prospects so it is going to be a mix of U20, with 2x18 (at least min. 40 mins), 3x19 (min. 60 mins) and 3x21 year olds. Marek can only play 1x 21 year old:-) Cost me lot of arguing and convincing so we could be more competitive in the match since his team is stronger. Marek is a good tactician, he would be impossible to predict and he probably was studying our previous matches so I'm gonna try to surprise him with 532 in the 1st half and 442 with a wing in the 2nd half. This is how I assembled our squad:-)

al-Jazā’ir starts our African tour in the end of the season (we play 5 African teams in last 6 games).
They are relaitively weak, play no 21 year olds in their recent matches (we have no U20 deal so far) and we will be heavy favourites and should easily win the match. Bearing injuries in tomorrow's matches we will be complete and finally we have a striker that looks like a striker with Niang in a decent form. He will start alongside Ludick and both will be substituted in the 2nd half for technicians Ledwaba and Masenia to take advantage of the tired defense. We will play our classic 442 with a wing and deep defense to put pressure on opponent, it should bring us lot of chances and scoring opportunities.

Our line up:

1 Fabien Lechesa GK
2 Henry Theunissen DEF
3 Jan Nagoli DEF

It should be an easy win against Egypt (Misr). I wil change 4 strikers as usual hopefully the will score some goals, they should be able to get lot of chances. 442 wing with high defense works well against weaker teams, no need to change it, plus Egypt plays the same tactic in their matches, which give us another advantage..

No preview for Cameroon today? We look forward to it you know. ;)
2012-05-11 16:35:39
Here it is:

Cameroon is bit stronger than Egypt obviously and is probably our biggest challenge in the rest of the season, but we will still be favorites and I expect another victory. I got use to them recently :-)
They played the same tactic in their last matches so this should again give us advantage if they stick with it. And if not we will beat them anyway :-)
We'll play classic 442 wing with small changes according to the opponent's tactic. Let's see how many posts Ludick hits this time:-)
