Dear friends!

The first match of our World Cup Qualification campaign is here. I haven't commented our group yet so let me say few words now. We are in a group with Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Morocco and Iran. The last two opponents I mentioned should be quite an easy ones. However as for the teams from the 3rd and 4th pot (BiH and Macedonia), I could have imagined way easier opponents. These teams have actually very strong players (at least according to their wage and marks) and I think it will be quite tricky to get them down. But I believe that it is possible.

For this reason, the match against Argentina is a very important one, as we urgently need to push them to the 3rd or lower place in the end :-) I think that facing Argentina may actually be easier than facing BiH or Macedonia, so we have to grab 3 points tomorrow. This match is however the very first match after the end of the elections so it is very hard to predict what's going to happen...

My ideas about the lineup for tomorrow are slightly coming. I think I have picked 4 defenders already - Alf, Skram, Vintersen and Dario Mørk. But probably I might end up playing even 5 defender setup (you know, I am less adventurous now ;-)). Then I am thinking of combining Bjarne Klam with Hans-Christian Reimer on the positions of attackers. One is very strong in pace and technique, the other one compensates the lack of Klam's striker skill. I am still undecided about my choices for the midfield - Orla Flindt has his place granted (decent skills, great form) but the rest is a bit vague. If I will use a 5 defenders setup, the next one will probably be Kristoffer Lerby as he combines high passing with high playmaking which would be crucial for such a setup.

Stay tuned :-)
