very weird match if you ask me and a miracle there was only 1 goal. Luckily it was for Scotland :) Lockerbie missed about 3 great chances in the last minutes though :s

An entertaining match i thought :)

Good performances from Rusk and Maclehose in particular for me. On another day Rusk could have had a hat trick of assists, MacLehose seemed to win everything at the back, i think i only saw him missing a tackle once.

Both Langfield and Lockerbie missed an incredible amount of one on ones but we can forgive them :)

The 3 points earned today should be enough to see us through to the last 16 so a good days work all round.

*Edit* Hope Lockerbie getting the winner makes up for Ferson's omission Stevie :)

France tomorrow and a 12.00pm kick off, local time.

If we want to get anything from this game then we need every player to be on top form and upfront we cant afford to miss (m)any chances.

A strong defensive performance is also needed and finishing the game with 11 players still on the field will help our cause :)

Unfortunately i'll miss the live showing as i'm spending the day in Dandy country, got to be there by 9am aswell :(

Hopefully a nice result to return home too.

I couldn't understand how Fletcher could score an og from there with formidable pm. Then he plays his part in the comedy of errors for goal number 2.

No excuses though, it was the same for both teams and we were simply outplayed.

No, but have mentioned it in the International thread. A few other matches also threw up a lobbed backpass.

Scotland v Czech Republic tomorrow in our final group match. After last weeks display of fine finishing from Kerr Fletcher he will swap his central def role and play upfront. I expect a few 20 yarders from him :)

Team and tactics have been set and the match kicks off at 12.00 local time.

I've just read that the match engine has had a little tweak or two and there should now be less backpasses. tbh, that probably suits us more than others given our defence :)
