Really? He's great player!
2010-08-20 00:50:31
yep but 15M € !!!

pepe -> 10M
martinez -> 12M
bonucci -> 15M
motta -> 6M
krasic -> 15M
storari -> 4,5M

we only sold poulsen to liverpool and we still need a left sideback, a centre defender and a mid...plus we still have to sell salihamidzic, zebina, camoranesi, grosso (they don't even train themselves with the rest of the squad) and probably grygera and iaquinta...

big names but old players with a huge salary

Well that's the problem of Juve and Milan that is holding these times back. If we decided 3 years ago to go with young players and consant improvement, now we would be playing for the glory...instead we had a great coach[Ranieri] with average team and well...we were getting worse each season, getting more and more players with high salaries :/

aquilani on loan to juventus (semi-official)

ROTFL
2010-08-20 16:41:27
sounds good
the problem is that it won't be easy to buy him after the season...

but Aquilani is great, I've seen him play in PL - good stuff.
If only he wasn't so injury prone...
2010-08-20 16:49:17
it doesn't sounds good to me...he plays 10 matches per season :(
2010-08-20 16:54:30
well with Juve he can play even less :D
I hope that he will be lucky in this season, because I'm not afraid about how he will play...
2010-08-20 23:22:27
W. Gallas -> Tottenham
2010-08-20 23:24:08
damn, ARsenal now have an unexperienced defense :((
2010-08-21 10:16:47
Aquilani is terrible at Liverpool - trade him for someone better like Diego.

Shame, I wanted Liverpool to make a move for Stephen Ireland
2010-08-21 10:24:16
I've seen him play a couple of times and usually he was the best l'pooler on the pitch :)
2010-08-21 10:34:08
Well last season was terrible, I think Aquilani was useless though.
2010-08-21 12:18:04
aquilani is for sure the best mid we have in italy...and we got people like pirlo and de rossi

the problem is that he can't train himself well cause of his physical problems...if you play 20 games in a season cause of an injury I think at least 15 times you'll play in a bad form....

by the way I'm not so happy because aquilani is too expansive for being the 4th CM and he will get an injury in 2months, I'm sure of that!
2010-08-21 12:58:23
Aquilani official

If only he would play at least 50% of games...will be a good rival for Marchisio who will finally start working instead of walking. Melo-Aquilani in the centre of midfield is pretty good for Juve's current situation. Pepe-Krasic on the wings and Diego - Amauri in the attack...cental defence is solid with Chiellini - Bonucci, Storari will be a good keeper untill Gigi comes back. The only problem is with De Ceglie and Motta.
2010-08-21 13:08:13
I don't think De Ceglie and Motta will be problems....

both are rather offensive sideback so they don't have great defending skills but delneri can do a great work with them....as ranieri made the best defense with legrottaglie, grygera and molinaro!!! delneri could make a good defense with them...

all coaches have some know-how and players learn this know-how

the fact is that ranieri's defense is always the best of the whole season and the fact is that delneri sideplayers are always the best of the whole season...

I mean ziegler was named the best leftback last season...ziegler!!!!!

We will see, I hope that you are right. I'm not competent enough to talk about Del Neri's defence, but I always liked the way Sampa played in offence :) The squad looks pretty strong, and should get stronger every season, I don't expect nothing special in nearest 2 seasons...it's a shame that our board was trying to return to the best so fast, we lost 2 seasons because of it...if we decided to go with young players back then...but well, everyone is smart now :)
