in Germany a first league transfer from HSV to Köln coudn't be finished because the fax machine broke down and the football federation got the message a few minutes too late ;)

David Luiz is a great defender and a very good prospect but 21,5M ... What the hell they are thinking in England ??? They are spending too much ....

I think there are several factors influencing the price..
- the transfer was made so late, basically in the last hour
- I am sure he would have been cheaper in the summer transfer time not in the winter break
- he is young, age is on his side

sure, but those factors wont double his price ;)
Maybe alter it 33% or smt like that :)
And come on, he has played 1 decent season. Way too risky, but hey, I dont mind. Aint a 'pool sup :)

Liverpool wanted him badly and Liverpool had a lot of money, the owners think he will be quality for the team and will be a great brand in the future. Thats why the price was what it was.

they all are also owned by billionaires who have lots of money to give to their teams.

also he is english man.. that's one of the factors too.. especially with the new rule ahead. a local player price's a little bit higher in this late 5-7 seasons
