Weird move for Pastore
money, money, money I guess...
2011-07-29 10:04:26
PSG it's gonna be next man city, that's for sure...

you can easily understand why Leo made 3 years deals with Menez, Matuidi and Sissoko...they'don't want to have 40players like man city when they'll buy great stars in next years
(editado)

Yeah, that's clear. Wise way of building, step by step..on the other hand - will real stars really want to go there? I mean...it's only France.

On the other hand City is almost 'full' and greedy players will have to go somewhere...

i hate the arabs they destroy the football
2011-07-29 10:20:38
How is it different from other top teams? Everyone is big because they have money. No money = no long term success.
2011-07-29 10:24:26
it's only about money and the city

stars don't want to go to malaga in la liga but prefers psg, they would earn same loads of money but they're gonna be in paris (not such a bad city to spend your tons of money)

Anzhi Maclackhla will offer 50 mil for Eto'o and 20 mil for 3 years of contract
2011-07-29 10:29:29
they offered only 30mln to inter, not 50...that's why eto'o is still in italy imho
2011-07-29 10:30:18
in our newspaper said that it was a 50 mil offer, but they like to lie a lot
2011-07-29 12:14:11
Football is not what it used to be...How should we watch matches with teams full of stars that doesn't play with anyone except themselves...Imho football is too overpayed...And I guess it all started with Ronaldo's move to RM
2011-07-29 12:38:42
Football is now less a sport, and more a business.

I think these "sheiks" (and russians and...) are saving football: they are the main reason why duopoly is not present everywhere, and they may even revert it where it is. What would England be without these "newcomers"? Man Utd playing alone, sometimes weak Arsenal joining in, and even less often the even weaker Liverpool winning something. But now they have Chelsea and Man City fighting for league and CL.
Football is a profitable business, at least for some. There's no reason why business-seakers would not attempt to take that money, and they have what it takes: a lot of money to finance initial investments.

@borkos: I don't think PSG is that bad (assuming they succeed in becoming top French team quite fast), in the end all leagues are as good/prestigious as its top 2-3 teams, money is good, European titles are at hand... and that was Ronaldinho's first European step :P

Exactly, it was his first step to real football :p

imho, this ridiculous football industry thing is happen when uefa start changing the ucl competition back in late 90's. from only the champions of the country who can take a part in the competition to the top four clubs of the three major leagues in uefa coefficient. so, this second, third and fourth finisher of the league -which is a looser-, trying their best to continuing get loads of money from this major tournament despite they are not a league champions. while, the true league champions from country like chezch, scotland, poland, belgium, etc. are not granted to take part automatically thus must playing in uefa's second rate competition occasionally.

i mean, the competition name's it self is 'the champions league' - meaning, a competition for a champions- not for a second, a third or even a fourth finisher! no wonder the clubs from outside this top 5th uefa's coefficient always struggle to get a star player and finally choose to find a youngster then sell them after this player start to have a big name. where? to a clubs from the big five of uefa coefficient!!

and because lots of money circulate in this top five leagues produce by this uefa competition system, here comes the russians, the arabs, the americans and the asians bourgeois trying to make some instant profit. the result? a ridiculous transfers money and wage for players and an expensive match tickets..
