Funny thing about polish teams, as you know we will organise Euro 2012 in Poland, so many stadiums are extended, and our teams have problem now:

Wisla Krakow - Champon of Poland, playing in Champions League qualifications will play on the stadion of Zaglebie Sosnowiec (team from 3rd polish level :-P), what's funny Zaglebie's funs are friends with bigests opponent of Wisla - Legia Warsaw :-D

Legia Warszawa - their new stadium (for about 30k of people I think) is building, and they have problem too.

Polonia Warszawa - their stadium doesnt meet FIFA requiments, and they will probably play far away from Warsaw, probably on Korona Kielce stadium (quite new, and good stadium for 15k) but Kielce is about 150km from Warsaw :-D

Lech Poznan - Stadium is extending. Lech will have stadium for more than 40k of people, but first rounds in Europa League, they will play in little city (14k of people living there) and on little stadium (about 6k places - extra stand for 2k will be build for this matches). If Lech qualify for Europa League group phase, staff will please UEFA to play first matches away, and then stadium will be available for revanges.

So as you can read, situation in polish football is tight now :-D

One more funny thing, we have still problem with penalty for coruption, and we don't really know who will be relegated. :-P

Same here. I was born in Szombathely - our team, Haladás will be playing its first international match since 1976; and none of the Hungarian channels will broadcast :(

Click here - from the link you can see the best moments from our Trans (playing in black-red) playing against some Slovenian club few hours ago. They lost 0:3. Especially keep your eyes on our first real chance (0:15). Btw the ticket for the match was free for everyone.

Our Nõmme Kalju lost to Latvians 2:1. They are beatable, need to win 1:0 to advance.

I agree with you about ridiculous distances like 150km for home games, but the size of towns shouldn't matter. The current Dutch cup winners and number 5 of the Dutch Eredivisie, playing Europacup, are from a town with 28k inhabitants and has a bigger total stadium capacity than inhabitants. The ice stadium Thialf can host 15k spectators and the Abe Lenstra Stadium can host 27k spectators and they're planning to extend the Abe Lenstra Stadium to 40k-45k seats.

Polonia Warszawa - Buducnost Podgorica 0-0 (half time)

Polonia was better. Sarvas has one on one situation, and very hard shoot from distance. Polonia scored for 1-0, but Ivanovski was on the offside position.

Polonia is atacking, but Buducnost scored a goal. Polonia is much better, but the result is still open.

Buducnost get red card about 60 minute.
