Yes it is :-) I alwyas give a lot of chances for coaches, but when I learned that Smuda left Lech, I was sure that there is no better coach.

yeah 5 teams in Cups and your leauge champion doesnt have to play in CL qualify - nice leauge, deserved through UEFA, we in Poland dont have teams in European Cups before summer ends :P previous year was an exception, even teams which beat our are out - Levadia, Brondby and NAC Breda

Smuda is not a good coach. He didn't want Stilic or Lewandowski, they were bought behind his back, when he was not watching...he has some stupid rules, and admits that he judges players by the way they...walk on the stairs :|

Standard Liège didn't have to play CL qualification, because Barcelona won the CL ( yes it's strange, but because of that, the next country on the ranking ( Belgium ) was able to sent the champion automatically to the group stages ). However, the future is not that bright for us. For this year, we were 14th, but for next year, we are - at the moment, so the results of this year must be counted - 17th. And it only gets worse: after that, we are 17the and 19th, so we really need some good results now!

Also just back from the match, also with no voice :). First of all, I was impressed by the Lech fans, when they clap their hands, everyone claps at the same time, and with the fire they lighted. First there was no light, 1 or 2 seconds later, 20 lights went on at the same time :).

Now the match: For me the 0-1 Lech first scored, it was a fault, but if the referee count it as a goal, the match was allready over. Club has got some good chances, but Lech had also a few very good ones, if they score 1, match is over...But I think Club has played the "best" football of the 2 in the 2 matches, so they didn't stole the qualifying.

Indeed, it's weird that you don't have teams anywhere. I thought Legia and Wisla were pretty good teams, and would make it to European football, but apparently, they didn't.

Wisla lost with Levadia (1:1,0:1) and Legia with Brondby (1:1, 2:2), Legia is not good since 90's when they played in CL (94 or 96), Wisla last year lost with Barcelona (0:4, 1:0) and Tottenham (1:2, 1:1), last years our clubs qucikly lost in Cups, Wisla were losing with Valerenega, Dinamo Tibilisi or Victioria Guimares; Legia with Austria Wien or earlier phase in CL qualification, other polish team were losing with serbian, ukrainian, russian, lithunian teams, so usually in summer no polish teams in Cups, since 2003/2004
