Weak game from both sides, both accepting the 0:0 in this game.

Still it's disgusting how Busquets dives in EVERY game...that's killing football...also Di Maria made one dive, Marcelo one, Pedro two. And Alves acted as if he was hit by a raging elephant, not slightly touched by Pepe...no red card for me, yellow at most! just for the attempt...

and alves overreacting is nothing unusual. for me he is one of the biggest jerks on football pitch nowadays.. and I don`t like pepe either for similar reasons..

well, even without touching Alves (the more I watch it, the more sure I am he indeed doesnt even have contact), the intention of the foul is still there ... so sanctionning with red is still fair. One day, faking idiots will get booked as well ... (dreams on)

Alves spinning motion would be pretty much impossible without any hit.

No contact or barely any contact, that's for sure. Not-stretched leg. Touched the ball. Alves made a bit attempt to kick the ball as well, thus changing the position his legs were when Pepe made his decision. IMHO there were no arguments for red, just yellow for potentially dangerous attempt...

start thinking. if he did touch Alves his leg wouldn't go up, would it?

the red card was pretty clear, he wasnt near the ball, it was just really fast and the angle was pretty bad.




For some reason i still have faith in Real, hopefully they can shock everyone at Nou camp.

edit: with such tackle on supporting leg we would have seen a bone being crushed for sure. I actually would have wanted to see that, hate Alves aswell:P

Messi´s second goal was superb - he is almost as good as Ryan Giggs.

Ronaldo was surprisingly quiet today. Didn`t see him chatting with ref or protesting, diving. That´s surprising in positive way.
