Asunto: Barclays Premier League 2010-11

ok

I'm going to maintain my claim, and I think Arsenal will win
2010-12-30 13:52:35
but all that pales into insignificance when you look at all the times you've had ridiculous good luck. Vidic not being sent off against villa this season and in the carling cup final last season. The late two goals at villa, the late late winner against wolves, the late goals at stoke and liverpool, Nani's goal at spurs. The lack of punishment for fergie for various offences, players still surrounding and hounding the ref, diving from various players.

they wont win, they cant win against bigger teams so i dont think they will win it...
2010-12-30 14:55:20
you cant be specific about all that to Man Utd, all teams do various things to the ref, it never changes his decision so i dont know what you are arguing about there. Have you ever noticed that Man U's style is to score late.....they sit back relaxed the first 75 minutes of the game playing composed and tireing the oppposition then as soon as it comes the last 15 minutes we burst our energy to score the goals, that is why we always get late winners is because we use our energy at the end of the game....something i am not a fan of because it is a very lucky play if it will work or not.

as you wish..
first, your definition about a football player "to playing well" imo is to score. well, football is a team sport. and as it is, playing well for me is to give your best to the game. would you expect a winger or even a DM to score a lot?i don't think so. that's why for me,rooney play his part as a team player quite well lately as united lose couple first team player in creativity area...indeed he's not score any goal yet,but he gave some assist and some important movement to create a chance for the match.he played good against rovers,he played well to beat sunderland. and for me,that ok as he keep trying to get his form back.
and united pay what rooney has showned all this time, mostly from last season. not like voronin who can't give a thing for his payment..except for what he gave to hertha berlin

it doesn't affect that decision, but it affects the future decisions. Why would ref's want to give anything against manu u when all thats going to happen is you get attacked and noone gets punished for it.

Thats a great tactic. So why was the other manc fan up there saying man u have been unlucky with conceding late goals?
2010-12-31 11:24:16
I never said thats what all footballers should do, but did you see the Birmingham match? He just stood there doing nothing. Berbatov was defending, passing it around, and yet Rooney just stood there. At this moment, he is worth nothing. He lives of reputation, not skill.

As for Man United's refereeing debate:
Pedro Mendes
Nani goal
Vidic red cards
FA Cup 06: 8 minutes of injury time played when Liverpool were 1-0 up
Man U v Man C 2009-10
The list goes on
2010-12-31 11:37:22
Nani's goal was fine
2010-12-31 12:18:49
a) he was offside
b) it was disallowed until Ferdinand started moaning to the linesman
c) he'd handballed it and dived

only Man United could be given that goal
2010-12-31 12:28:06
there was no whistle whatsoever, it was Gomes' fault
2010-12-31 12:39:02
it was the refs fault, he should have given the decision. The lino gave it. He should then have not allowed himself to be bullied by the man u players. Waves away the spurs players yet allows the mancs to be there.

Same ref as the Mendes goal as well.

Fergie's thrown his toys out of the pram. Following Darren Ferguson's sacking (thoroughly deserved) by Preston, he recalls the 3 loan players that were there. Pathetic Scottish git.
2011-01-01 03:00:50
I must say I quite a loled when I read that news about fergiefergie.
2011-01-01 10:36:56
i saw that, doesnt surprise me though. Sort of person he is. Obviously wasnt doing it for the young players but for his son.
2011-01-01 13:51:16
yep, it was blatantly obvious
2011-01-01 14:18:40
Another big decision favouring the mancs. Neville not being sent off and wba not getting a penalty
